Edwards, Minnesota, and Trades.......

Look what losing Ricky Williams did to us. Running back is far more important than wide receiver.

In case you didn't notice, Philadelphia didn't miss a beat without TO. They struggled without Brian Westbrook though.

I get your arguement, but SD with Tomlinson was awful before Brees had a good season. My agruement against taking Edwards is, what good is a WR if there isn't a QB who can get them the ball? I think Mike Williams is a better player than Edwards, and the thing going against Williams is his '40 time, but Edwards does not play as fast as his '40 time suggest. Williams in 2 seasons had 9 less TD receptions than Edwards. People can sugges it was because he had Palmer/Leinhart both had their breakout season with Williams at WR, and Edwards played most of his career with a very good college Qb in John Navarre.

How in God's name does Ricky friggin Williams get included in a conversation about possible trades tomorrow???

2 years with Lamar Smith and lesser #'s but a more potent passing attack. 2 years in the playoffs.

2years with Ricky Williams and and a less potent passing game, no playoffs.

What I see last year was a team with a new OC, a new QB, a completely new O-line(5 new starters) No David Boston, No O-gun.

But yet you wanna focus on us not having Ricky Williams.

I am not arguing that if we had a better passing team. What I am arguing is that with better passing numbers and less rushing numbers we were a playoff team but not with the opposite.

I agree that we do need a RB. Just not in the 1st round especially #2 overall. We can get Fason, Barber or Arrington in the 3rd who have the potential to be very good RB'S in the league.
