Huge public forum apology to Mr.Hoops. I thought Egnew would contribute this season and I was wrong.

I think I have one of those coming from a tangle I got into on another forum last year. I was even the first to acknowledge that one or 2 game stretch where he blocked well to help passify the angry pro Egnew folks. Meh, it'll never happen and I don't go there anymore.

his biggest issue was he couldn't separate from coverage and he was one speed...if you can't play in our current system i doubt you can play in any nfl one...3rd round pick flat bust

He also couldn't block. If you can't get open, can't catch and can't block, you probably shouldn't be a tight end.

Jimmy Graham was 2010, Egnew 2012??? Do you mean why we passed of Graham in 2010? They gambled and lost. They thought he'd make it to the 4th round pick. Only in Sparano/Ireland's world is an OG (John Jerry) more valuable to a team than a TE.
