If you give him a huge contract then you're mograging your future if he gets injured. But if you only give him a one year deal then you may get in a bidding war next year. Since the team is already the second highest cap in the NFL I'd say give him a 3 year deal.

Pfft. As if. We can't afford to pay him next year anyways. Have him do well then trade the guy to some team who would be willing to part with a 1st for a 10 sack DE after we tag him and then draft (hopefully) a stud DT to take over for Bowens.
