EJ Manuel every throw week 1

EJ Manuel can be a decent backup in this league looks like.

No respect.. They swept us last year with a backup!!!!!! Hope we win.. But comments like that will have you eating crow brother.. Fins win 24-14 ;) if we can keep Tannehill up right.. If not Bills win 24-21

I want to force him to throw over the middle, he hangs his receivers out to dry by constantly throwing high. Delmas will knock the sh*t out of Woods or Williams if they try and go up like that, and if the passes are too high hopefully they get picked off. We also need to get him moving, he is horrendous throwing on the run.

I'm scared of Spiller on the screen pass, we haven't defended then well in the past.

I was talking about Manuel not the Bills as a whole. Don't be skerd either, it'll be alright

Miami has a bad history with handling screen plays, even back to the Thurman Thomas days. Usually it's due to our slow LB's, and now we have back up LB's playing.

it's going to be a tough game, no need to get blitz crazy and Finnegan and Grimes must be able to get off their blocks.

first thing I noticed is he looks a lot better than last year. should be a fun game to watch.

3 things this franchise hasn't been able to do in a long time:
1. run a screen
2 stop a screen
3. cover a TE

Two thoughts:

1) EJ had a pretty good game. Not great, but pretty good.
2) That Bears defense looks lethargic. Slow and not very physical. We play them later in the year and I was stunned at how little energy they brought to the field. If they don't pick it up, I will like our chances against them.

Man, he is going to get his receivers killed with those high passes!

Buffalo has way better WRs than NE.

And way better DL.

And better backs.

Gonna be interesting!

Man, it had to be gut-wrenching for Bears fans to watch that diner napkin offense (word to hoops) move the ball on them. That was extremely unspectacular. I am usually pessimistic about our team, but I can't imagine the Bills having much success against our D aside from scrambles and checkdowns (we're susceptible with our LBs either sucking or injured).

The only flashes of competence I see in that tape is when Manuel found his WR for 10-12 yard hitches in between the hash marks. Take that away, and it's all checkdowns or blown coverage (ie the DB not looking for the ball).

I think this will still be a close game because Spiller and Jackson are deadly on the screens and checkdowns. Our LBs have to stick their man like glue. I say stick the RBs, play tight on the WRs and make Manuel beat you deep...if he can complete a deep ball (which it doesn't appear threatening) then hats off.

If the Fins can get a few sacks, this should be a Miami win by multiple scores. If not, this is probably a 3 point game or so and it could go either way.

Except when Dansby was here. Woops, I think that is blasphemy 'round here...

From watching the first two minutes, either the Bills o-line is godlike, or the Bears pass rush is non-existent.

I've been telling people for 2 straight days that the Bills have a very good offensive line but they don't seem to believe me.

Jared Allen was getting very frustrated lol

You should watch the full game. The I'm not going to post a link because it's of questionable legality and I don't want it to get taken down, but if you check the condensed Dolphins game that was posted here, there is a link on that site to one of Bears/Bills.

I was stunned at how slow and lazy the Bears defense looks. And I don't want to take any credit away from Buffalo -- they played a good game -- but I don't think their performance vs that Bears team will translate to much if Miami's DL comes out and plays the way it did against the Patriots.

EJ had a pretty nice game. He definitely needs to hold the PA fakes more to draw the linebackers in. Still seems to have issues overthrowing guys, quite a few high passes. If the blocking on those screens was better those would have been nice chunk plays. Robert Woods also looked pretty damn good
