Eleven 2006 mock drafts

I think A.J. Hawk is the best college LB right now. and it pains me to say that because i hate Ohio State.

F**k AJ Hawk. The one and only thing that I think of when I hear his name is how two years ago he basically choked out an opposing QB after a play while he had him on the ground. Had his hand on his adam's apple and was pushing down hard as hell.....the QB had to leave the game injured because of this.

What a piece of crap to pull something like that. :fire:

How can they give mock drafts for next year already? Seems kinda pointless to me with all the injuries, trades, and free agency that is yet to come in the next year.

all these mocks are very speculative.

I think we'll be picking around 12 and can see us getting a guy like Charlie Whitehurst. He's a sound QB who's stock will soar with a good senior year.

Whitehurst really blew it last season. He would not be a first rounder right now and he would have to have a good year to get into the first round. I see us going with the Aaron Rodgers of next years draft- Kellon Clemons.

rivers and smith were both nowhere prior to the seasons they were drafted. they went #4 and #1... QBs generally get overrated and Whitehurst has talent.

If New England got Ernie Sims, you might as well give them the Super Bowl title in 2007. Ernie is an absolute beast, the best linebacker in the NCAA bar none.
Ernie Sims is gonna fall way out of the 1st round, he is about to be kicked off of the FSU team

I'd take ANYONE............................................. with pick #32.

That's the only thing I'm concerned about so far this year. :beerbang:

I absolutely agree any of them will be a steal at 32, I don't see drafting any higher than 20 unless some jackazz thinks it would be fun to trade away the future and trade down for some bust....

Omar Jacobs is going to tear up the NFL.

I see him rated as a top prospect on many sites, but he's going to take a very long time to develop. I think his throwing motion is gonna hurt him in the pro's. A guy who I believe could be the Alex Smith of next years draft is Tyler Palko of Pitt but I think Dave's 1st down run, 2nd down run, 3rd down pass, philosophy will hurt him. Matt Leinart or D'Brickshaw Fergusan would make me very happy.

That wasn't him, it was a LB that graduated like 2 years ago. I can't quite remember his name, but get your facts straight before you say something like this about him and slander his name.

Edit: It was Robert Reynolds who choked the guy and got suspended.

I hear Omar is from the South Florida area too....he would be a nice fit.

does anyone know where to find video clips of omar or any of these guys?

What ever happend to next year's draft being rich with tackles? A month or two ago everyone was sayin how they cant wait to get ferguson, mcneil, winston or scott with next year's first rounder. What happend? And while I'm at it, why hasnt anyone brought up Brodie Croyle, theres no telling what round he will end up going but he is definetly an impressive prospect...

And these are all people the phins will never draft.

Stuff changes so much that it never works out this way.

Hell Orton was expected to be the top QB a year or 2 ago and look where he ended up.

I wouldn't say never.... Rodrique Wright is a stud DT, and that will be a position we need.
