Just ran into Dannell Ellerbe. He's off the crutches but still not running. Hopes to be able to go in OTAs but will not rush it.

Ellerbe said he had surgery about 2 wks after hurting his hip. Injury was more severe than he initially thought. "Messed it up pretty good."

His career as a starter lasted one full season. Horrible signing

He never plays for Miami again.

Well they tried him in the middle last year and he wasn't very good....they tried him at WLB this year and he wasn't very good although it was a small sampling but with the emergence of Jenkins he won't be playing there. Only place they haven't tried him is at the Sam...but I don't think he gets the chance.
