Enough about Luck!

I am not against taking him. I hope we get him. I have been wanting a QB for years not, just like everyone else. I just wish people would calm down about this guy because it is too far to know if we even stand a chance at him.

Wevie usually i'm with you, but seriously, what else is there to talk about? we certainly can't talk about all the games we've won this year.

I dont get your point, people are talking about Luck now because it directly correlates with whats going on in October.

Actually it in NO way correlates with what is going on now. Luck has zero to do with where we are now. It might have some correlation if you're talking about signing Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning, someone that we KNOW is an NFL elite because they have actually done it!!!
Anything else is premature speculation!!

btw raise your hand if you're really happy that you didn't pay for the sunday ticket this season...

Another Short Term Thinker. Thinking only about now...

Successful people are always forward thinking.

Think Long Term.

I feel bad for people saying the only thing to talk about is Luck.....I can always talk about how Ozzy rules.....lol

Ozzy rules!!

...well so far this season our Dolphins...are going off the rails on a crazy train....and Sparano is the conductor...:chuckle:

I can see Finheaven is just as bad as your "competetor" site when it comes to the "Suck for Luck" campaign.

My only question is how is drafting Andrew Luck (which I still say Landry Jones is going to be the next NFL premiere QB) going to help the overall team?

Is Luck going to play cornerback?
Is Luck going to play safety?
Is Luck going to play linebacker?
Is Luck going to get pressure on the opposing team's quarterback?
Is Luck going to offensive line?
Is Luck going to play tight end?

This team that I love has so many issues besides quarterback!! You don't need an "elite" quarterback to go to the Super Bowl and win. You really don't! Chicago, Balitmore, Washington, Oakland have all proven you as a TEAM can go to the Super Bowl and win with a mediocre QB. Hell, Washington WON the Super Bowl 3 times in 7 years...with three different, medicore quarterbacks (Theismann, Williams, Rypien).

A good strong running game, a solid elite defense and a quarterback that can manage the game is the key to winning Super Bowls. The stats don't lie. Last year's Super Bowl between Pittsburgh and Green Bay featured the leagues number one and number two leageu defenses respectively in points allowed (Pitt 14.5, GB 15). Offensively? Green Bay's offense was ranked 10th in the league and Pittsburgh's 12th.

Besides guys something you really have to ask yourselves. You lose your elite quarterback for the year due to injury, now what? If you have an elite defense and say...a defensive lineman goes down for the year? Well, you still have 10 other elite defensive players out there. You still have a better chance than the team that's lost their star quarterback. Need proof? Ask Indianapolis how they're doing this year.

Ask Indy how they did for the last 10 years. You get your QB first then put the pieces around him.
