Enough with all this "We Gave Fiedler 4 Years!" Crap...

I like that phrase, ror.....Concerning Jay....."It's not what he did or didn't do, it's what he couldn't do."

I guess the TEAM lost with Ray Lucas too. Or the TEAM lost all of those games with Jay. Not choosing sides, but that "team won the games" arguement works two ways.

ok ill make this short and sweet.

Jay Fiedler doesnt have the athletic ability to get this team to win in the playoffs. His "win percentage" is the TEAMS winning over those years. The DEFENSE won those games, not Jay Fiedler. Matter of fact, Fiedler was probably responsible for more of the losses than we was responsible of the wins..... How many 200 yard games has Fiedler thrown? How many 300?

Fiedler has his 4 years and showed he has the ability to be the BEST BACKUP in the NFL. Thats all he will amass to, he doesnt have the physical ability to take this team to the next level and he proved it over 4 years.

Ill just quote COC on the next part because I would say the same exact thing:
So your logic is taking into consideration that Jay played QB, RB, WR, OL, and all defensive positions?? Did Jay make the schedule too?

Kurt Warner still holds the all time record for career passer rating....he got his first win lst Sunday in 2 YEARS!! If you looked only at his numbers, would you say he is as good as that rating the last 2 years????????

Thank you, goodnight, class dismissed.

You want realistic? How about this:

Oakland 27, Dolphins 0
Baltimore 20, Dolphins 3

In his last two playoff games, Jay "stop bashing him" Fiedler put up exactly a FG.

Please....spare us.....

Yeah your right, McKnight didnt drop that ball at the goal line.

How many games of those 41 did fiedler win for us. Or did he just not screw it up. How many of 23 games did he lose for his inability to make a plays to win those games. Jay is done, deal with it.

obviously he was surprised to see the ball so close to him, that far down the field.

Look at the defense Sunday night!
so are you saying that for 58 minutes the defense didn't give the offense ample time to create a large enough lead? I'll admit the D blew it, but to use this as an excuse for JF being the better choice or as good as his record shows, is laughable at the very least

Basically your saying that if Jay were playing we would have been well ahead at the end of that game and the defensive collapse wouldn't matter

To me, the most impressive thing about the games we won with Jay Fiedler at the helm is that we had 4 Offensive Coordinators in his 4-5 years with us.

How many other QB's have fared as well with that much turnover?

The Best offenses usually take awhile to build...

I have little doubt that if Jay played the entire game vs the Bengals we would have won the game. AJ is not ready....yet. I do think he has a noticable edge though on his throwing power. His problem is between his ears. Hopfully if he continues to get time he will grow and become something special. But I think Jay is better right now.

Ditto. Whenever he has been hit and blitzed and hit again with the weak o-line like the one we witnessed Sunday night, he has not succeeded. The bottom line with Fiedler to me is that he doesn't think quick enough on his feet. By the time he gets past "they are coming right at me" and "I'm supposed to throw a post pattern," he's usually down on the ground.

Jay didn't throw for 122yards and an INT either

Hey, Im not saying Jay had a great game against one of the best defenses in the NFL.......What I am saying, that catch makes it 17-10 with 5 mins to go. After that drop the game was over, the defense gave in.
Oh and by the wat Grbac threw for 133 that game.
You mind telling me who led the Dolphins in rushing that game? :D ;)

BULSHlT!! He had 4 years...he didn't cut it! That is a 100% valid statement.

Go get a job and do just enough work to get by, but never reach the companies goals. Tell me if that boss gives you 4 years!!!

Man, people who don't use logic really drive me crazy

 Hmmm then do you drive yourself crazy??

I hope which ever Qb is in there does well , but you guys DO need to get off Jay's back. You ***** that Jay makes bad desions but defend A.J. for worse desions. Come on guys, just drop the Jay bashing. He won us a bunch of games, and lost us a few also, Same as our D same as our Special teams. Take off your hate blinders and be quiet, caus it is getting real old.
