Enough with all this "We Gave Fiedler 4 Years!" Crap...

The point was is that AJ was lucky to not have had more picks/
And my point is we can sit here all day and do shoulda, woulda, coulda on everyone's prospective stats they COULD have had.

I feel we have a better chance of making the playoffs with Fiedler not Feeley, they will both throw INTs but so far both of AJs were returned for TDs and have cost us both games... Fiedler can drive us down field, he knows Chambers very good, After seeing Feeley and the O-Line I believe Fiedler should be starting....thats just me.Neither are very good QBs but I think we would do better with Fiedler starting.Yeah he sucked in the playoffs but atleast he got us there and Feeley wont if he keeps this up, if we make the Playoffs anything can happen.

If you want to get into "shoulda coulda's"....that HEROIC game against Denver that Fiedler had, didn't one of his passes that was completed for a KEY first down on the final drive go RIGHT THROUGH a Denver defender's hands?

How many picks did Jay almost have? How about the Monday Night Miracle, where he threw an INT that was called back on a penalty, then threw another one ON THE NEXT PLAY?

Please man....Jay is shot. This is a ridiculous argument. He's DONE. The man couldn't hit the broad side of an aircraft carrier with a basketball.

OK jay, sorry to see you wearing a hat now and not a helmet. That earpiece looks cute though.

Grbac, he went for only 133 yards, but was 12-18 with 0 INTs and 1 TD pass ;)

Seems you only like answering parts of questions.......Jay also led the Dolphins in rushing that night  , with 16yards! We had 151 total yards, we played one of the best if not best defenses in the Baltimore game.

Really?, just like the first half of the tennessee game, where he had 43 yds and 2 int's. wow, he is great.

what's your fascination with jay and him leading us in rushing? 16 yards, big deal. That's as bad as his 122 throwing with an INT.

Sure it was 122 yards passing + his 16 yards rushing......
My point is, in that game Jay was responsible for 138 of the 151 yards of the Dolphins offense that night. How could you put blame on JF for that playoff loss.

how in the hell is aj going 2 get experience, if hes on the bench. so shut the F*** up.. fiedler had his chance and he didnt cut it..feeley has a better arm and with more reps , u will eat your words.. all of the ones who say sit feeley out n favor of fiedler. i dont hate jay but damn , come on people. sometimes it takes a whole year 4 a qb 2 get it down, mayb longer. our oline cant protect him, thats why! look at randy blowing up on the sideline.. he knows whats up! i love it when he went off cause that was some sorry ****. what r all of u spoiled that miami has been winning all these years? even if we only win 5 games , im still a fin fan 4 life..i say let feeley get his work n this year and boston get heathy and come back next year takin heads.. im not writting us off this year..

want to talk about multiple picks? fine. this is what i posted a while ago, responding to the myth that jay is a smater guy, who has an ability to rebound quickly from mistakes. Going back to his first year, jay's thrown almost as many INTs and TD as a starter, (and probably would have thrown more if he didn't miss so many games.) In less than 4 full seasons he's had nearly 20 games where he's thrown two or more INTs -- (five of those with 3 or more). That's nearly a full season and a half of games with multiple INTs. That doesn't sound like a guy who quickly bounces back from his mistakes.
And people still have the balls to brush off suggestions that we've won IN SPITE of jay (on the back of the D) rather than because of him? Please.
If you want to argue that AJ show's no signs of improvement in that Dept. --fine. I might even be inclined to agree (although we could at least give him 1/4th of the rope we've given Jay. But please spare us the BS on how jay doesn't throw away games through turnovers -- because he damn-well does..or should I say "did."

Judging by all the comments, i'm guessing no one read my first post. I'll re-iterate. I said i do NOT think jay should be starting, but to give credit where it is due. I also did NOT say that he is the sole reason for our record the last four years. I did not purposely omit our Defense or Running game. I did not say he did it alone. i simply said he did not destroy the team or its overall record the last four years, and i felt that people need to lay off him a little. Sometimes it's more of a feat to NOT destroy a team than it is to make it great. If that's too much for you to handle, i apologize.

I also said that Feeley has shown no promise over the last two games... i did NOT say he is through and should throw in the towel. I said i hope he proves himself in the pittsburgh game.

i think everyone stopped reading my post at the thread title. please be fair guys. If you are going to come here to start spewing hate, at least read the entire post!

and for the record, i don't think either QB is the answer to our problems.

Fiedler is horrible, no chance at squat with him...AJ, we have no idea. Funny thing is AJs bad performance is an on par day for Jay.

Man, people who don't use logic really drive me crazy

But captain, we are fans, there is nothing logical about that!

But Jay DID do a lot that would have destroyed the team, that would have lost many more games (see his multiple INts ratio I posted) if it not were for a perennial top 5 D. It's easy to forget his horrible performances when we manage to win those games, isn't it?
Now, will that too be the case with AJ? That is a very srong possibility. For example, if Mia wins the Cinci game in OT, that would have been IN SPITE of AJ, not because of him. That pretty much describes jay's whole career. Does he deserve NO credit? Well, there was the dallas Thanksgiving game, but beyond that, it's tough to argue that jay's had a above-average impact on a game's results.

For all of you who are defending Jay with his fabulous record, why aren't you defending Wannstedt with the same claim?

DW and JF in four seasons, have led the Dolphins to a regular-season record of 41-23 and a pair of playoff appearances.

My oh my how things change when re look deeply into reality!

DW and JF should be sent packing!
