RT should have been coached up A LOT better than he has. The snap counts, the audibles, the deep balls, etc etc all fall on the offensive coordinator and the QB coach. It's their job to get those problems fixed and they didn't.

That's why we don't need anymore half solutions. Hire a good GM and build a staff. Who hires these coaches u refer to why its the Gm and coach. Lets also not forget the game breaking receiver we signed to a fat contract that will count 17 mill against the cap next season that was anything but special or the awesome linebacker that was going to change our pass rush while producing on sack or ignoring oline once again and having a record setting sacks given production come from these guys because that's not on the Gm of course lol

How do you know that Zac Taylor isn't good? Apparently he aspires to be a Head Coach (just like we heard the rumors of Jason Garrett when he was the Dolphin QB Coach). Zac Taylor's key job is to develop Ryan Tannehill and up until the last 2 games I would have said that Tannehill's development has been excellent. While I don't like some of the Sherman playcalling, I have seen nothing to suggest that Taylor isn't doing well. He is perceived by some as being bad because he is Sherman's son in law. Therefore he must be hopeless... Even if he does a good job there is the perception of nepotism. I also doubt that Philbin and Sherman would accommodate poor coaching performance. Can you remember Sherman's grilling that Egnew got on Hard Knocks.
Anyway for what it's worth, the 3 Dolphin coaches with good raps are Rizzi (Special Teams), Campbell (TE's) and Taylor.

one prob with Philbin is allowing that loose bolt Rizzi to run wild every gameday sideline, yelling at refs, mouthing off to the umpire, and acting "Iago"... Taylor wants to be like Uncle-Daddy, ain't that cute!.. imo only Canpbell has the nads for HC potential

And I can counter with..... At the beginning of the season we signed; a super bowl game changing LB, a multiple pro bowl RT and a deep threat number 1 receiver...

The coaches blew it, dlockz.. Why punish the whole team if we have just a few problems? If you fire everyone then you're starting all over, again. We all seen that movie, it never works out in the end.

I am beginning to hate this team. I was mad but it has literally turned to complete disgust and sadness. I really am starting to hate Ross . I feel like this guy is Miami's anticrist . he is destroying the team until there is nothing left and no fans at all. I have never felt this way , even in all the loosing years the 1-15 season never. This has to be the worst coaching staff and front office in the history of the team.

It's a CONSPIRACY! Ross' evil Master Plan is to have the Dolphins Stink SOOO bad, with NO fans so that he can move the team to........LOS ANGELES! Dr Evil.jpg
Moo HA...Moo HA...Moo HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Uh no. We went 8-8. Not 1-15. Calm down.

Here is where going 1-15 is better than going 7-9 or 8-8.
With 1-15...You know to make a change.Try something new.
No doubt about it.
Keep going 7-9 or 8-8...It keeps the boss thinking"Maybe we are close?""I'll stay the course with this
ship." Small changes are made, nothing major...we go 8-8 again..We do this same song and
dance over and over for a few more years.
Boss, now wants to make changes, but not overall changes..I.E hire new coach ,but keep same GM.
or vice a versa...New person comes in,thinks"hey, this team went 7-9..they are close"Small changes are made again
to try to make playoffs in first year....We go...guess what? 7-9 again...Same song and dance for more years.
We've never really had a total rebuild in 15 years...We keep patching a crappy boat and changing out crew members
at different times.
It's pretty much the meaning of insanity.
Sound about right?

What did these awesome players do is the question. Ellerbee has never been good enough to win a starting job ever yet we hand over millions, Wallace was not valued by his former team to be paid anymore than their other receiver but of course we need to make him one of the best paid receivers in football after we gave away one of the actual best receivers in football. Atlanta decided it wasn't worth resigning their pro bowl tackle but yet a team with no clue how to win decides hell what does the rest of the NFL know we know better because we have the genius known as Ireland. Dansby outperformed his replacement here, Marshall outperformed his replacement and Clabo definitely is not better than Long so yes its the friggin GM also

Well we have seen the movie keep Jeff Ireland for 5 years now and we haven't improved one bit. we have seen the movie give the coach another year and we know how that turned out. Lets finally try hire a GM and let him build this damn team. We have not tried that one yet

We tried that for 2 decades.........

Why not just for once try to build on what we have instead of blowing it to pieces in just 2 freaking seasons? We made strides, we're building a good core of players here. The Oline sucked and our OC was horrible. Get rid of him and get some cornfed, see what ya got.

Tell me a player that would've started over Suggs or Ray Lewis lol. Ellerbe was really good when he started for them. And we let our pro bowl tackle go too remember? Same thing, every year teams let good players go.

But that's all my point... They came in good players, our coaching staff failed.

we have not ever hired a GM and let him build the team in the last two decades. Please try to explain that one. We gave Shula complete power, then gave Johnson complete power, then took power from wanny , then hired Saban and he hired Mueller. We have not once hired a GM and let him build the team since basically forever. We have played this mediocrity game with Sparano and have kept Ireland for now six friggin years as our Gm its not like its a sudden change but u want to do another half assed firing that wont mean jack crap. Our defense was average at best two so we just stay the path there too and why keep Ireland still

Mclain was the player in his way not either of those guys. If he was that good he would have beat him out

So what was Mueller and Spielmans job again??? Yeah, general manager. 2 of the worst of all time, next to Wanny. Ireland is by far the best GM we've had so far. His drafts are extremely solid.

And Ellerbe started beating out McClain last year before being given Lewis's spot due to injury. He had more reps than McClain before that though.

ELLERBEE did not beat out Mcclain, he had more reps but was not the starter so get your facts straight, ellerbee was the main backup period .
As for Mueller and Speilman they never hired once coach. Ross needs to hire a GM and let him do the work that he has been trained to do
