Eric Winston?

something doesn't smell right if he was released...this guys too good a player to be cut unless he had a rediculous cap #...anyways...absolutely go after him...just be ready for a lot of comp unless there's a hidden injury or something we don't know about

This move saved the Texans $4.5 million. Smelling like they will offer Mario Williams a huge contract.

If he was cut strictly for cap reasons and he doesn't have some debilitating injury we don't know about, then this is as no-brainer as a no-brainer gets.

Oh my gosh. Normally I get tired of the "such and such got released should we sign him?" threads cause most are stupid but this guy would be fantastic for out team. We should be looking hard at this guy.

Reports are saying he was released so they could make a run at Myers/Williams/or Manning.

I would love for us to make a run at him, he's a top 10 RT in the league.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are clearing cap space for a run a PM. I'm sure getting to beat Indy twice a year and winning the AFC south in a shue in and on a team that is already primed for a super bowl run, would be something that Peyton would consider. I know they have Schaub coming off the Lisfranc injury from Nov. last year. Not sure on their cap situation though.

while were at it, lets sign chris meyers, his Ol buddy from houston and move pouncey to guard... between donald thomas, incognito, carey and murtha, somebody ought to be able to fill in at OG...

take a flyer on a guy like gettis or draft brandon washington in the middle rounds... I can't see me having a problem with an Oline like that.

draft a fleener and a WR, manning would have weapons galore and a stout ****ing O line...

thing is i doubt like seriously doubt you get him signed for less than 5 years and $30 mil...he won't be cheap...unless there's medical here...i know he's had leg or knee injuries prior i wonder of somethings up with that...anyways healthy...he's getting paid

Donald Thomas hasn't played for us in over a year.

Ye im all in for a good RT..............

this is a no-brainer. Instantly our OL is much better, we dont have to draft an RT, and whoever our QB is gets better protection. No brainer, if Miami doesnt jump on him the first day of FA's, theyre stupid. He should be signed ASAP. Since his brother scouts for us and he's from Miami, I think this will be a big target for him. If we signed him, then drafted DeCastro in the 1st round...our OL is suddenly Top 5 in the league, and even Matt Moore could do well behind them.

Hell, we get him and De Castro, even Pat White would loog good!!! rekrhbourbbbrfffffff, sorry, threw up....

Winston is too good to come true. I'd be thrilled if we got him. Peyton would be well protected.
