how bout we sign winston and draft decastro with our first pick...who cares if its too high? if we can get Manning/Flynn behind a line of LONG/INCOGNITO/POUNCY/DECASTRO/WINSTON...epic win...

I was just thinking the same thing. Winston is a beast run blocker (struggles a little at times in pass pro when he gets off balances b/c he has short arms and lets guys get leverage)....but if you put him next to DeCastro on the right side with Pouncey at C, that might become the best run blocking right side in all of football. I would LOVE it!!!!
That being said, Winston is a liability in pass protection. He has given up 17 sacks the past 2 seasons in 32 games to go along with 12 penalties.
Other Free Agents with stats for last 2 seasons....
Anthony Collins - 0 sacks (16 games) with 2 penalties
Kareem McKenzie - 8.5 sacks (32 games) with 5 penalties
Levi Brown - 18.5 sacks (32 games) with 11 penalties.
To compare, Columbo gave up 20 sacks (31 games) with 10 penalties.
So while i like Winston, Anthony Collins looks to be the best route for pass protecting if our offense is going to shift that way.

Best case scenario would be if we could trade back and still get DeCastro. Hopefully be in position to grab Nick Perry or Fleener.
