Don't know if this has already been discussed, but the other day ESPN and Herm Edwards were previewing the AFC East and they mentioned that the Patriots had won the division 8 of the last 9 years. Herm's partner asked, "And who won that other year? Yeah, your New York Jets." And Herm agreed! I couldn't believe it. That was Sparano's first year when the fins won the division. Typical ESPN Fin hate. Anybody else catch this major screw up and feel as ripped as me?

This forum has some bizarre fixation with what Herm Edwards thinks.

What you just started a thread with is the exact same reason why you just wasted 5 minutes of your dearly life watching that show... Total waste...

There's an easy solution to that, stop watching ESPN.

Not sure why it can be considered shocking news that ESPN screwed up.

Herm isn't worthy of the umpteen threads about his opinion being posted on FH now. His opinion means as much as my own.

Giving credit where due, Jets suckered KC taking a 4th round pick for Herm's services when in fact at that point, they would have paid a 4th themselves, to get out from under his contract.

Gotta love Herm.......... especially in those Coor's Light commericals.

My guess is he was talking about 8 of 9 years where Brady has started and Herm's '02 Jets are the only other AFC East team to win the division in a season Brady was NE's primary starter.

WOWWWWWW That is quite a stretch, even for you, Junc. Is Tom Brady's presence (or lack thereof) truly a factor in whether or not a win is deserved?? I guess the Steelers' Super Bowl win doesn't count that year either, since Brady wasn't there to try. Plus, if they ARE excluding 2008, 8/9 games only covers to 2002. if they're talking about seasons Brady started, what about 2001? When Bledsoe went down in Week 2 and Brady led them to the playoffs?
