Carroll had the 9th lowest QB rating in his area last year, better than even Grimes. I don't think people realize how good he was last year and he's a loss. Took him a while to become a quality CB but unless last year was fluke he's there now.

"B" is pretty accurate IMO. I wasn't blown away by any of the signings, but they all make sense. I think so far Hickey has been committed to what he's said he was doing, adding depth where it benefits, and bringing in guys with play-making-ability. Maybe not the absolute best at each position, but our team Should be better for it and will give us a much better chance this season. Also, resigning Grimes and Starks was huge.

Previous years I'd definitely agree with you but he was good this year. He didn't create turnovers though and we really need that from our DBs.
