Didn't see this posted... just got done checkin' this out... and...

I tell you what... we've quietly (at least in the media, it seems) had a great offseason. We're getting no respect at all from around the league, and especially not from our good friends over at ESPN.

We're going to surprise some people next year, that's all I'll say. Especially ESPN.

I hate how with everything that we've done positively this offseason that they mention the trading of Patrick Surtain. Jerks.

They basically just made the power rankings the same as last seasons standings. Pretty gutless. Wow if the Skins finished that bad they would send the Broncos the #4 overall, Wow that would be right up there with the Herchel trade. Worst trade ever.

I have a strong feeling that Green Bay is going to take the same dive as we did in 2004. Look for the Pack to have a top 5 pick next year. Just a gut feeling. Sherman will be fired and Jim Bates will be named the new Head Coach.

I see that happening too. Almost happened this year.

I agree, these guys take no chances. What garbage.

We havent proven anything yet. Hopefully by the 2nd or 3rd week of the season the power rankings will be quite different. Until then, our improvements are only on paper and should be ranked as such.

Nicely put. There are too many questions that need to be answered.

Actually, I think this was posted a while back, but...what have the Fins done to change anyones opinion about them ?? We haven't even stepped on the practice field, much less the season...When you are a 4-12 team this is the rankings you deserve until you prove otherwise...If we go out and win our first 3 games, we'll rise in the standings...but that hasn't come to fruition yet...so be patient and lets see how things go in September.

I don't put much faith in these power ratings, after all, it's way to early and all these tabloids are in a race to print such statements. Wait until August before anything comes out!

I couldn't agree more with you. The Packers have had a woeful off season. It wasn't as bad as ours last year (has there ever been a worse one in the history of the NFL), but they have some big question marks. Minni and Detroit should be better this season, and I think Chicago will surprise a few people. I think the Pack will be lucky to get 7 wins this year.

loosing a probowl corner doesnt help. but when the guy who was gunna take his spot, has a season ending injury, it really doesnt help.
