ESPN: Phins could trade down and get additional 2nd rnd pick from Cincy

If they have an eye on something late like Tannehill(spelling?) and ol in FA along w/ Manning it makes sense. No qb is going to be a sure fire starter or success including Flynn except Manning if healthy. He will learn a new offense faster than any other qb and will reignite the passion in S. Florida and across the nation. It makes complete sense to make a move like this and groom a new qb of the future and be able to have success now. I believe w/ a qb the likes of Manning/Brees that this team can be a legit competitor. Look at the scores from last year! Add Manning and how many of those games are wins? Total sense to grab Manning and groom the future while being legit now.

this is a dream, manning, get a DE and a young QB all at once

I agree, if Miami stays put and Richardson is still there, then both those picks are more then fair. Didn't Atlanta give up two or more picks to get Jones last season.
More than fair? So in your eyes Cincy is getting the better end of the deal? No! Based on the draft chart Miami is gaining 350 points which is the equivalent of a mid 2nd round pick. Yes, Atlanta gave up a bunch of picks but they moved up 21 spots, Cinch would be moving up only 9

ireland's track record in the second round is that he didn't have one in his only year running the show (2011), it was traded to denver in the marshall trade.

When is the last time the Bengals traded picks away to move up and pay a player more MONEY in the 1st round.................LOL.Some of you must not follow football very much because that's the kind of thing the Bengals NEVER do.

Back to life, back to reality, back to the here now...............We need to stay put at 8 and pick up a STAR, we have all the " good " players we need.

New CBA... rookie salaries won't destroy a team's like they did in the past. The focus will be placed more on a player's talent and value and less about their salary cost. The new rules could result in a deviation from Cincy's normal way of doing things.

Also with multiple picks in the first several rounds, it means we have more opportunities to strike gold. I don't want another one and done ala Ginn or yatil green. Rather not put all my eggs in one basket and it's always a gamble, even in the first round.

IF this happens it might help us get a good a good TE in round 2......who really knows what will happen tho we first gotta see whats going to happen through f.a
