ESPN takes another swipe at the Dolphins!!

I have no problem about the height thing that Saban referred to, my problem wasn't with Nick at all, my problem was that AFTER Nick made his comment about needing all the help he can get, the writer gets smart@$$ saying it could be his height, which I didn't have a problem with, or, could mean with this team...... It's true, we do need all the help, but c'mon, that's history, we're starting new here and starting a new season, what happen last year is the past, let's move forward and stop referring back to last season... that was my only point, it wasn't a comment that needed to be made by Wine... anyways... we can now drop it, especially since it wasn't even ESPN that reported it....

He's a reporter, he did his job. We as fans should move forward, etc., etc., but it is the media's job to be objective, they aren't supposed to be rooting for us, and it's true, we need all the help we can get.

ESPN is garbage. Ive grown such a distate for them over the last couple months that I dont even care to watch them anymore. Id rather find all the news coverage I need on the things I want to know about through 6-7 internet sites rather than ESPN. They just suck anymore and dont even try to hide how bias they are.

K, you're totally missing my point, but it's cool, we can move on, we're all Dolphins fans and have the same objective in mind.. it's all good..

Who cares what ESPN says. This reminds me a lot of something that goes on here in Canada. Our major sports network is TSN. However they heavily favor any of the Toronto teams. We have learned over the years to just ignore the biased attitude and knocks against other teams.

Sheesh, it's not a swipe it's reality IMO. He's a lil guy and we sucked last year.

Reality is a nice thing. :D

It's old news that ESPN and Chris Boomer Berman are Patsies and Bills fans.

this is all bull****, it was a rookie camp. how do you estimate the future of the dolphins based on a rookie camp?!

Let me be the first to say

First of all nothing bugs me more than the poor little us routine. Newsflash we sucked last year. Until we prove otherwise, no one should have to say anything positive about us whatsoever. Accolades and high praise will come after we prove it on the field.

Second ESPN is a bunch of different businesses combined under the name of ESPN. You have television, you have radio, you have mobile phone, you have video games, and you have a whole bunch of other entities that comprise ESPN the brand. So when you say ESPN has a biased against the Fins that would have to mean that all these entities had to come together and decide that ESPN doesn't like the Fins. As someone who works at ESPN I can tell you that the t.v. people don't get together with the radio people, who in turn get together with the magazine people to hold some vast conspiracy against the Miami Dolphins.

When the Fins prove that their worthy of good praise they'll get good praise.

it's still crap. it's a misinterpreted quote from today based barely on a rookie camp. i don't place any stock in it anyway. nor do i think anyone should retract the statement, mainly because i just don't care. yeah we sucked last year, but this is still a case of making news when there is none.

disagree - example: boomer is long time bills stroker and now new england band jumper - if he doesn't want to give our team verbal praise, whether we deserve it or not, then our team gets no verbal praise - it may not be a conspiracy but it is a bias - and the fact is, there are many anti-dolphin biased reporters that work for espn

Exactly. I doesn't matter whether Saban was referring to being short or the fact that the team sucked last year. They're both true. Everyone jumps on reporters for makig things up. Then a aguy takes a quote that could very easily have 2 different meanings and he gets bashed for it. No one is out to get the Dolphins other than the rest of the teams in the NFL (as they should be).
