Ex-dolphin N.Carroll signs w/Eagles

I think we will miss him... but he had to go... we have too many young cb's under contract riding the pine and we have to see what they are worth.

But if we do not add another CB we might regret it later.

I'll miss Carroll, average player but we could still use him.
 
He played well for us last yr, I like him as the 3rd or 4th guy, especially if NE picks up Steve Smith.....don't want to face Brady with just Grimes and a bunch of 3nd yr men who haven't seen the field yet, with SS in his arsenal....
 
For that price, I"d have liked to have retained him. It's like we endured the bumps and frustrations as part of his internship growing pains, and now that he's turned the corner (albeit with a limited upside), we've essentially mentored him for the next team/Eagles.

Are you kidding me? How are all of you talking smack about Carroll? All he got was 2 years 5 mill? How did we not fork that over? The guy started for us all year!

It was a mistake to let him go, especially at that price
 
Although he has improved a great deal in the last 2 years, he was still the one that always got burnt. Everytime he came in I told my son they will pick on Carroll and sure enough it always happened.

I wish him luck
 
I'm disappointed that we let Nolan Carroll go. He improved every year and was a good contributor last season. Eagles got a bargain. Nolan gave us very good depth at CB.
 
Nolan improved greatly however he was still a liability

Nolan Carroll's 2-year deal with #Eagles is worth $3.65M, including a $750K gtd base in 2014. Has a $900K escalator and incentives in '15.
