FA Center Kyle Cook

was cinci power or zone scheme last year cause i think that could matter...not sure what indy was last year either although i think both cook and satele make for a soft interior

Don't be shocked if Miami trades Rishard Matthews or Brandon Gibson (if healthy) half way through preseason to a team that has depth at center.

Those aren't tradable players. Both are marginal back-ups on most teams. No team will give up anything for them. They will just wait for Miami to cut them and sign them for less money than they make now

Cinci was power with zone mixed in.

Disagree, both are quality receivers, and can easily compete on many NFL teams. As for team waiting for them to be cut, unless Gibson is hurt (which means he would not be traded or picked up when released), both those guys will probably make the team.

Either one of those two quality receivers that can start on a few teams, for a backup center that can start sounds about right to me.

I like Cook. I like Satele. I DO NOT like the in house options.

Insanity is asking Smith to snap when he never had done it before. Insanity is thinking Sam Brenner can be an option. Insanity is letting this issue fester.

Redefining the term. Samson is a known with a history in the East. The rest of your point is white noise.

insanity is expecting different results with our current group of options

Where am I advocating for the status quo? If you want a debate, please stick with what I am saying. Satele is hot garbage. Cook or any other FA signing is needed.

No team is trading for Gibson coming off Patella Surgery and assuming his contract.

It is not white noise…it is reality.

Where did I advocate status quo? I made a point strictly on the return of Satele. Your trying to make a point where none is needed. Reality, yep.

Cook seems a better option to Satele. I'm interested in learning more about how long it will take Pouncey to come back. What is the latest estimate? Good to see the big guy suiting up and doing some rehab on the field.

I don't believe anyone really knows, and IF the team does, they are not saying. This is why it difficult to speculate what the team should do.

I guess that people are scared that our current center does not improve enough to be viewed as a reliable source. Satele has some experience in the WCO, so that's why his name keep coming up. t honestly...I too fell that Cook would be a better option for us. Also if he's signed soon...he should be ready by the start of the regular season.
