Can you honestly say you have the patience and ability to stand in the pocket not knowing if some linebacker or cornerback is about to hit you squarely between your shoulder blades with his helmet??

Exactly right ! ! ! and an OWNER with some class ! ! ! :fire:BringBackShula said:And a real Coach, a real O-Line, a real RB...................................
Noodle Arm said:Feeley is frustrating to watch. I've seen all the games he played for Philly and he NEVER looked looked this. He had poise and fire...this preseason he showed some fire. Where has that gone? It's as if he's forgotten how to play all of the sudden. He's playing scared and making dumb mistakes. I know the o-line has a lot to do with it but still...that 2nd pick was a horrible decision, should have just kept the ball and ran with it. What I saw in Philly was a promising young quarterback...what I see now is totally different.

You mean like Plummer throwing a ball left handed near his endzone for an INT/TD or like Favre throwing off of his back foot under pessure in the playoffs? Or the countless Favre over the head or behind the back throws were he was lucky enough to have a receiver there? Or in Favres second year as a starter when people thought he maybe color blind because he threw a pick in almost every game?Superself said:Because when the pressure is on they won't make as many stupid errors as we see and have grown used to seeing. A good QB recognizes disguised blitzes and has the mental capacity to know which receiver is open. He doesn't run past the line of scrimmage and toss an INT.
He throws it away when nobody is open.
He doesn't throw an INT in EVERY SINGLE ****ING GAME.
.
Ben's offensive line was struggling last night. I thought it was a GREAT comparison. The steeler's offensive line isn't the greatest either. But when he was under pressure, Ben performed well.Hellion said:You mean like Plummer throwing a ball left handed near his endzone for an INT/TD or like Favre throwing off of his back foot under pessure in the playoffs? You wanna see good QBs do stupid things watch the AFC QBs from any super bowl from the 13 year NFC win streak.
This kid comes in, has to learn a new system with a 1st time OC and new players and a O-line that has never played together before, on top of that the coach shuffles the line around, your starting running back has been here 3 weeks, and you are now playing a NFLE RB and a rookie FB. Then the state you just moved to gets nailed with three hurricanes in as many weeks, and the last game you played in the remaining effects of. Then you are expected to out perform a popular (with some players) 4 year starter and have no endorsment from your head coach as to how secure your job is.
I've watched all three games and when he's had more than 1.5 seconds to throw the ball he's made some very good throws and lead this offense to TDs. Just like the RBs have made yardage when the O-line has made holes. I have seen the QB and RB hit at the same time while handing the ball off in the backfield, i've seen a DE get to AJ before he even completed dropping back to pass.
I agree he should read the defense if he sees a blitz and make an adjustment, but who's gonna block? We all new he was a young guy that needed to learn more, but under these circumstances ANY QB would struggle.
