Fair catch at the 5 yard line..................

Like many others have mentioned, there were so many mistakes, gaffes, blunders, outmatched bull****, it's hard to harp on one play.

The entire game was a complete embarrassment.

I'd go as far to say, I don't want to see this team on prime time anymore. We look like complete fools each time we play in prime time.

If we're going to suck big time, just put us on Sundays where we bleed into the rest of the news.

I mentioned this weeks ago. Heck, I mentioned it last year. This team constantly looks disorganized, more so than I see from a lot of college teams. That goes directly on the head coach. Philbin's job isn't the passing game. His primary job is oversight and organization, delegating and putting the right people in the right positions to be successful, and also to motivate. Has he done well in any of those areas? Not that I've seen.

It may be Rizzi's group, but Joe is in charge. Another failure on his part. I simply don't think Philbin can handle all of this at once. He's overwhelmed.

He looked like he was someone in way over his head last night...

That's what happens when your head isn't in the game,

No surprise he has been doing it since he got here. He is just another mental midget that is a part of the failure this team is.

Didn't he also return a kickoff from 7 yards deep to the 12?

Why the thumbs down of my post Viggen? You thought one of them had a good game, just curious?

Thought by your post you kinnda agreed that's why I was curious...(I have done that before myself by accident!)

Well with all these new practice rules that they have in place now so no one gets injured you have to wonder how much real practice they get in. Shula would practice your butt off till you got it or cut you. Look at the piss poor tackling last night. Tired of we will get it fixed that excuse has worn thin, time to move on Philbin. Ireland may need to go but and for all of you giving credit for Ross picking Philbin over Irelands choice well your not looking to swell now becasue Ross's choice is not measuring up.
I have posted this many times before but we are reliving the Marinio years except without Marinio when as a team we regressed to no running game and a pourous defense because we just relied on the passing game. Thats the end result when you run a team this way.

Did you see Rizzies reaction after that? it was like, WTF???
He looked very frustrated. The field appeared slippery? Lots of guys slipping and falling down? Did it rain much before the game? Lots of pieces of turn pulled up near the endzones?

There is a reason Bess was in there on those last year. There is a reason we were trying out a bunch of guys at punt returning in the preseason. IMO Philbin didn't want Thigpin in that role but had no good options. IMO Philbin didn't want a lot of the guys we have playing the o-line but had no options. IMO Phibin didn't want Nolan Carrol and Jimmy Wilson playing CB but had no good options. Seeing a theme here?
