If we do pick like that..OL, OL, RB in the first 3 rds, then one my 4ths is gonna be a TE before a CB, but that's just me.
I thought about TE there, didn't see one that I liked all that much. I would have liked to draft Eric Saubert in the 5th rd of the 2017 draft, could have been a good fit. Instead we traded up 2 spots for Asiata, gave up a 6th rd pick, I hope it works out.

Rather than posting the same-looking ALL CAPS FANSPEAK LIST as everyone else, I'll just post some guys I seem to tend to end up targeting in certain rounds...going off NFL Draft Scout rankings (which are the most realistic you can use). Some guys I list more than once because their NFL Draft Scout ranking is a bit too low and I start considering them a little bit higher than where the Fanspeak engines project them going. Round 1: TE Mark Andrews (Oklahoma), OT Mike McGlinchey (Notre Dame), OT Orlando Brown (Oklahoma), DT Vita Vea (Washington), DT Maurice Hurst (Michigan), DE Bradley Chubb (NC State), DE Harold Landry (Boston College), DE Clelin Ferrell (Clemson), CB Tarvarus McFadden (Florida State), S Ronnie Harrison (Alabama) Round 2: QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma), TE Mark Andrews (Oklahoma), TE Dallas Goedert (South Dakota State), OG Will Hernandez (UTEP), OC Billy Price (Ohio State), LB Rashaan Evans (Alabama), CB Jaire Alexander (Louisville), S Ronnie Harrison (Alabama) Round 3: QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma), RB Sony Michel (Georgia), RB Jaylen Samuels (NC State), RB Royce Freeman (Oregon), WR Simmie Cobbs (Indiana), WR Allen Lazard (Iowa State), WR Anthony Miller (Memphis), TE Mike Gesicki (Penn State), TE Ian Thomas (Indiana), OC Frank Ragnow (Arkansas), DE Marcus Davenport (UTSA), DE Dorance Armstrong (Kansas), LB Keishawn Bierria (Washington), LB Josey Jewell (Iowa), CB Holton Hill (Texas) Round 4: QB Riley Ferguson, RB Sony Michel (Georgia), RB Jaylen Samuels (NC State), RB Royce Freeman (Oregon), WR Jester Weah (Pittsburgh), TE Troy Fumagalli (Wisconsin), TE C.J. Conrad (Kentucky), TE Christopher Herndon (Miami), OT Joseph Noteboom (TCU), DE Marcus Davenport (UTSA), CB Deatrick Nichols (South Florida), CB Rashard Fant (Indiana), S Damon Webb (Ohio State) Round 5: (we don't have a pick) Round 6: QB Riley Ferguson, RB Quinton Flowers, RB Kalen Ballage, RB Rashad Penny, TE Christopher Herndon (Miami), TE Adam Breneman (UMass), OG Kyle Bosch (West Virginia), DT Dedrin Senat (South Florida), DE Justin Lawler (SMU), LB Tegray Scales (Indiana), LB Shaun Dion-Hamilton (Alabama), S Damon Webb (Ohio State) Round 7: QB Riley Ferguson, RB Quinton Flowers, RB Kalen Ballage, RB Rashad Penny, TE Adam Breneman (UMass), OG Kyle Bosch (West Virginia), DT Dedrin Senat (South Florida), DE Justin Lawler (SMU), LB Tegray Scales (Indiana), LB Shaun Dion-Hamilton (Alabama), S Damon Webb (Ohio State) A lot of this is just because I need to expand the number of players I've reviewed and gotten comfortable with. Some of the notable absences are just because strategically they don't make sense for Miami, or because we won't have a shot at them.

I'd probably have Price at OG to start and Officer backing up Pouncey- Officer is pretty stout at the OL and can move pretty well, 2nd level blocking, etc. Juius Thomas- see ya, I wanted to draft 2 TE's but the chips fell where they did. Josh Allen worth the 3rd rd gamble for a QB of the future, otherwise it would have been Holton Hill. Scarborough looks like a talented big back a notch below Derrick Henry, thunder and lightning combo with fellow 'Bama RB Kenyan Drake. Rashaan Evans- as long as he keeps getting rated so low in this simulator I'll keep taking him- domo arigato Fanspeak, I hope that the actual draft has Evans going this low so we can grab him but I seriously doubt it. Was Raekwon McMillan a better prospect that Rashaan Evans? Not so sure about that imo, Evans looks pretty darned good to me, physical LB and maybe quicker than McMillan. Would be a massive steal that low in the draft no matter how you cut it.

A+/favorite so far. I would prefer you look up a RB like K. Johnson, J. Kelly, or R. Penny instead of two TE's, but I'd love those first four picks, and I think there's a good chance that none of the four are available where you selected them. Getting Evans that late would be sweet. No idea why he's available this late, though.

I'm not crazy about this draft but the name of the game is adding talent, that and banning Mike Tannenbaum from making any more trades. My preference would not be to add a WR or DL in the 1st round, but the two talents that stood out were Sutton and Christian Wilkins. And yeah if Quenton Nelson were available I would have taken him. A question in general regarding the draft: The Steelers took David DeCastro 24th overall in 2012- was he a reach because he's an OG? I'd take him all day long, there or higher, the 1st round always seems to be regarded as too high to draft an interior OL until we're getting knocked around like rag dolls for yet another season. Combine talent available at interior OL with a definite need and I'll draft them all day long in the 1st round. I heard the same logic a decade ago regarding RT vs LT as per spending 1st round picks. If we need a Guard draft a Guard- Nelson, Price (OG/OC), Hernandez, whatever works- fix the problem. Draft Officer in the 7th as a backup Center, that's fine, too, or maybe Isiah Wynn as a short yet capable Guard or even back up LT, the kid can play. Just get it done, fix the problem, I'd love to get Quenton Nelson in the 1st round and bury one of the Guard issues that plagues us year after year.
I did these with different settings, and, as you can see on the last three, it was hard for me to justify taking any of the available players over Sutton at 10. I don't like going WR that early, but he's the kind of talent that dictates coverage. I have said it many times, but I don't draft a WR in the top 10 unless he's a rare talent. I didn't have top-10 grades on Corey Davis, Mike Williams, or John Ross. Sutton is that rare talent, and I have a top-10 grade on him.
Am I missing something or is Rashaan Evans ranked ridiculously low by Fanspeak? I'd be happy to get him in the 2nd or 3rd rounds and they have him ranked I think 266 overall, imo that's crazy. I like his size, physical play, quick feet, production. Holton Hill jumps out, too, with that size and speed but he's got some suddenness/explosion to him as well, just reeks of talent- I hope that he no longer reeks of weed. It might be a bit much to throw out the name Mike Haynes, but I do remember what Troy Vincent looked like as a rookie, and Hill has that same thoroughbred look to him. Quite the talent.
