Fast Forward 1 Year: The QB situation

I say one year from now your picking between 10-15 and Miami picks Omar Jacobs Qb from Bowling Green.

That is a more likely scenario maybe. But why did the Chargers keep him and start him this year? how much can he up his value with another quality year? A fair bit to show he really has it now. But what if he flops? Then his value drops hugely! Why did they keep him this year if they plan on getting rid of him anyway? It also puts off the development of Rivers nother season.

well imo nobody came and offered anything 4 brees and another if brees dose flop than rivers after 2 years learning this offence will be ready to go but if brees isnt a bust and plays like last year than every team will see that he is for real and want hesitate on grabbing him so it realley dont matter to the chargers if brees is or isnt a bust but if he aint than that is just that much better 4 the bolts

I don't know... they have alot invested in both guys... but if Drew can't get them over the hump I take the young guy and the pick(s) you get from a Brees trade.

I think that would be a slap in the face to SD's veterans, like Tomlinson who has supported Brees, throughout. It's a players league, and if Brees proves himself again this year, I just don't think it plays out like that.

I hate that idea. Omar Jacobs is so far away from being ready, that I hate the idea of drafting him. I'll wait for Saves, to come in who I believe is a Bowling Green fan to come and tell us all about how great he is, but his throwing motion terrible, if the team was to draft a talented Qb with a horrible motion, I believe Vince Young has the most upside of any QB in college football not named Leinart, but he's also got the biggest bust potential.
