Feeley Vs. Frerotte, whatever!

I hope we get Omar Jacobs, he kinda reminds me of Dante Culpepper

There is always the possibility that Gus can play "gannon like" for a couple of seasons. I can't say that I think it's likely, but it is possible and I think much more likely than the possibility that AJ suddenly develops a feel for the game. Either way way I believe we'll be bringing another QB in next year, either by draft or trade. Either way we won't be set back b/c we're bringing in a new QB. We were already set back by our failure to find a QB over the last few seasons. All we're doing now is trying to accelerate the process of becoming contenders again.

Why is my no. of post any of your concern?
It's post envy. For some reason people actualy believe that holds some signifigance on here.

LOST MAN, is forgetting that the RAVENS won the Superbowl with Trent Dilfer! The RAMS with Kurt Warner!!

Ok Warner was good, but was a backup! The way this team is desgined, we can win with guys we sign AS FA!!

Justa you post amount indicates a lack of a life! You must be a PORTLY FELLOW, dunking chip-aroos into a glass of milk as you envy the Miami Dolphins. There is more to life than ENVY of the great and Powerfull Miami Dolphins.

You know what Finatics? I think these Bills fans are closet Fin Fans! Why else would someone post over pay attention here, TWELVE THOUSAND TIMES, yes that number is 12,000 TIMES!

Wow dude.. Go get some booty..

Haha! If there is anyone that needs a life, it's those posters who's life is so boring that you have to worry about another posters posts?

You are obviously threatened by my no. of posts that you have to pay attention to it.

I think you should worry about your knowledge about football rather than worry about my posts. I don't even charge you for the charity work I do here for homers like YOU. You're being ungrateful.

Does it even matter? Ferotte is probably going to be the starter...signaling the end of feeleys career.

And if Ferotte is the starter, its pretty much a lock that you'll be drafting a QB early next year. (Probably will be even if Feeley gets the nod)

The point is, neither is going to be the long term solution, and because, according to most of you, that young QB's can set the team back (aka Losman) do you see this rebuilding mode taking more than a few years...

I mean, if Feelrotte is the stop-gap QB, and you bring in a young guy, its going to be 2008 before he's truly comfortable playing NFL football.

So whats your point? Nobody knows how these quarterbacks are going to play once the games begin?, not me and certainly not you.

I realize in your Buffalo Bill fantasy world you hope its 3 or 4 years before this team takes over the division, but the reality is nobody knows and if I'm a betting man I'll bet on Saban dominating Buffalo a lot sooner than that.

So save your negativity for a Bills forum.

Here are his numbers from his two starts in 2003 (which is the last time he had any starts):

Gus Frerotte 38cmp 65att 58.5% 690yds 10.62 7 TD 2 Int 118.1 rating

Multiply that by 8 and I'll take it:

304 520 58.5% 5520 yds 56 TDs 16 Ints 118.1 rating

Will he reach those numbers? No. But, it shows he can still play.

This was with the Vikings and Randy Moss. And look who they played during that stretch, the teams where horrible. ( I've done the research, they had some of the worst pass defenses in the league)

You have nowhere near the talent of either of those teams. Not even close.

I guess every Phinfan is hoping that Feeley IS the long term solution. If (when?) Frerotte wins the starting job it will certainly send a message to me that a new, long term solution at QB will be coming next year. That, in turn, leads to the "rebuilding" question. If QB is addressed via the draft then there will be plenty of growing pains and it will take a minimum of two years before I personally would count on anything positive coming from the QB position.

Bear in mind that Buffalo's seasons are usually over fairly early and there really isn't that much to do in Buffalo so he has plenty of time.
;)

A lot of people like to use the words "won't" and "can't" when discussing players that "haven't". I'm sure if you looked hard enough you'd find many of the same statements about Gannon, Dilfer, Delhomme, Brad Johnson, etc.
