According to ESPN Dallas, the Cowboys have had "internal discussions" about trading Felix Jones.

Beat writer Calvin Watkins says it "wouldn't surprise anyone" if the Cowboys moved on from Jones if they found an early- to middle-round runner to replace him as DeMarco Murray's complementary back. Jones is signed only through 2012, so the time for Dallas to move on from him is now, if that's their true intent. It sounds like Jones will be available on draft weekend.




We all know how much Ireland loves Cowboys...
 
Only if it's another Bush type trade. If we could get him for no higher than a 5th then sure... go for it, adds an element of explosion and speed which this offence sorely lacks right now.
 
We already have Bush, who is in the same mold as Felix. I don't think there is any room for him on the team...

I guess Bush isn't explosive or has speed?:rolleyes2:
 
I don't want this Felix Jones guy..but Bush is not enough explosiveness and speed for our entire offense.
 
I'd rather take TRich and laugh all the way to the bank.
 
explosive...but can't stay healthy...i doubt they'd get more than a 3rd for him...
 
as long as we dont give up a draft pick in the first 5 rounds
 
Had a decent start to the season until he went down, DeMarco Murray stepped up and Dallas never looked back.

Given his injury history and our depth at RB, I'll pass. Draft picks are too valuable to us right now to be giving away for players we don't exactly need.
