Felt like I was reading about the Phins

Lets also not forget that until last year he had 6 easy wins to help guide his team to the playoffs. That division was putrid when Indy was winning by it. They team was never s legit threat in the playoffs.

Man, 2008 was like the greatest thing since sliced bread for me. Coming off 1-15 to making the playoffs. You guys treat AFC championship game appearances and playoff wins like they are second nature to a Dolfan.

Just feels like a book of contradictions on this site sometimes. Not calling you out or anything, but there is an excuse for everything to support this mediocrity. Glad somebody is coming in here and switching up the culture of what this team has been. If the QB can be apart of this new phase, lord knows it is easier to stick with what you know than go searching for another one, but by all means I am not tied to that dude.

Sorry, but he put together an 8-8 team at best that stepped in **** and would have been home watching the playoffs with us if not for Indy and Cinci's decisions to keep their starters healthy in 2 season ending meaningless games. A case can be made that if the 09 7-7 Fins had faced those same 2 opponents, it could well have been them that advanced into the postseason. And let's look what he's done and the mess he's left afterwards. The fact that no one would touch him in a marketplace that's as utilitarian as it gets, speaks as loudly as do all the mis-steps and bad decisions that Ross has made since being owner.

It could of been, but it wasn't. Just like the 2013 Fins that had the playoffs giftwrapped for them and then proceded to lay eggs against division opponents.

There is a complete lack of emphasis on results on here because face it, we do not know what it's like to get them

All this hate towards those who have gotten them just falls on deaf ears . . . . and discrediting them in a attempt to prop up Miami is just another example of the sad state this team has become.

You are a funny dude . . . I won't entertain you on this, don't have the time or will.

Just feel proud that your Finheaven beeper, with the Tannehill "911" alert feature, is working well this offseason.

Carry on

In other words... "LA, LA, LA, LA..... I'm not listening....."

Haters gonna hate......

I agree. Since Tannehill's rookie season I've said he's an average QB. May become a top 10 QB someday, but I haven't seen it. And I'm in favor of getting him legitimate competition. What fans of ALL teams need to understand is the likelihood of getting a top QB in the draft is very small - thus, a number of teams go for years/decades chasing that 'top QB' dream.
Yes, draft to get a top QB but expect disappointment for a looooonng time before hitting gold. If Tannehill can be coached up to top 10, that's a much better investment than more years in the QB wilderness. Not saying Miami shouldn't TRY, but don't expect success is just one draft away.

Answer a simple question.

If Indy was in the AFC East from 2012 to 2015 in place of Miami, would they have had the same number of division titles? Playoff appearances?

BTW, his record against the Pats, Jets, and Bills is 1-6....

His QB rating against the Bills is 67, Jets 52, and Patriots is 83.

Makes no sense, been over this plenty of times with you. You feel stats warrant Tannehill's place amongst the best and refuse to realize that QB play plays the most important factor in team success and the QB is the ultimate difference maker and has the greatest opportunity to change the fortunes of a team.

You are just gonna continue shoving him down our throats while we continue to be the definition of medicore and the "team" will continue to be the problem, not Ryan Tannehill.

I don't know . . . most great teams like Indy, you know, teams with franchise QBs who win playoff games, build their team around winning the division.

You'd have to ask Miami why they drafted a QB who has problems stepping up in the pocket and not knowing how to improvise when the pocket collapses . . . knowing they are in the AFC East.

Tannehill laid an egg at the end of 2013 . . . he had a chance to show where he was, and he choked, like he tends to do when anything worth a damn is on the line.

But congrats on those 4000 yards tho . . . . who gives a ****.

kinda like you shoving a rebuild down our throats to justify every questionable to stupid even decision tannenbaum has made this offseason...only to have ross and gase vehemently deny any rebuild in the first place

One's a 5th year QB with a losing record . . . the other is a new regime with a fresh take on how to build a foundation . . . or fix the foundation you and others suggest is ruining the QB.

Hmmm, wonder why I should have a more open minded approach on their take on this team than watching the QB that has proven nothing but being a pretty damn good coach killer on this level.

If anything, Gase needs to be on point and pull the plug sooner than later . . . if this kid has no hope.

Really?

Dan Marino's a 59.4% completion rate with a 86.4 passer rating and a 7.3 YPA

Guess we can look forward to Tannehill vs. Marino threads in the near future.

Stats mean far less at the QB position than many of you Tannehill lovers will ever realize.

the plug he needs to pull is the mike tannenbaum one but he can't...I will bet you right now though that ryan tannehill in Miami outlast mike tannenbaum in Miami...

Damn, that is an interesting wager. I just don't jump into bets emotionally though . . . but that may be one I have some interest in.

Different eras and you know it (or should). Keep flailing around. It is entertaining.....
