Why shouldn`t fans pound there chests ? You do realize the Jets beat the Bills , Eagles and played a really good game against the Chiefs right but we sweep them and it means !@# all . Alot of these S@#t teams we`ve supposedly beat have beat good teams .

You guys act like the team is 7-7 and needs help to get into the playoffs.

Haven't been 10-4 at this point since 2000.
Haven't been in the mix for the #1 seed in god knows how long with control of your own destiny (win out and it is secured).

Haven't sweep the Jets and Pats with a chance to split with the Bills in god knows how long.
Haven't had a leading NFL rusher - EVER at this point (at least not in my lifetime and I'm old, not older than dirt like some of you assholes however 🤣 )
Haven't had a leading NFL passer at this point since Marino
Haven't had a leading NFL receiver at this point since Marino
Haven't had a top 5 defense since Zach and the boys
Haven't been 2nd in team sacks since - IDK maybe JT and Wake days?

Haven't had the number 1 overall offense and number 5 overall defense in terms of yards in my lifetime.

Rejoice for a few days. Let the team worry about winning the final three, I am enjoying the fruits of their labor this week as any fan should.
 
I will admit I did not see the Jets' game as a slam dunk - heck I was bracing myself for a loss. The fins played well on both sides of the ball and dominated - it was nice to see. But I'm in agreement with the folks who are still not fully trusting this team. Now is the time to see what Miami is all about. Any win from here on out will be a very impressive, high quality win. The chance to get respect and have people believe in them, to prove they truly are a legitimate contender starts right now.
 
I'm sorry, I've been watching this team for 39yrs, and this win is absolutely something this fan base should be excited about. 2 wins in December already! Everybody who has watched this team for the last 20 years knows exactly what would have happened yesterday if we went into that game missing all those key starters in years past. Our offense would have looked like the Jets did yesterday. Hell, going into that game healthy in years past, we still would have looked like the Jets. This year, we go into a mid December game so banged up we should've expected a loss, but no, we dominated our opponent. Winning record or not, that is reason for excitement! Now we move on to Dallas and hope to continue our newly found winning December ways!!
