FH lost and found...

I will admit I did not see the Jets' game as a slam dunk - heck I was bracing myself for a loss. The fins played well on both sides of the ball and dominated - it was nice to see. But I'm in agreement with the folks who are still not fully trusting this team. Now is the time to see what Miami is all about. Any win from here on out will be a very impressive, high quality win. The chance to get respect and have people believe in them, to prove they truly are a legitimate contender starts right now.
So 30-0, literally blanking a PROFESSIONAL NFL TEAM, a division rival did nothing for you? With backups on backups. There really is no helping some of these fans....

I suspect a lot of you naysayers haven't blown your load for a while now. Probably why you are so unhappy.

Get laid FFS. You might be happier.....
Works for me. Daily.

Now you know why I am always so 😊 around here.

Maybe Easy just needs some loving to get him over the hump. Perhaps circumstances is down for it, or should I say up for it. Preferences..

No it was great to see. Beating any team in the NFL 30-0 is hard to do. I said they looked really good on both sides of the ball and dominated. All I'm saying is the jets are a joke and the degree of difficulty goes through the roof from here on out. That's not debatable. Now if they go out and beat Dallas (assuming no new injuries) I am going to start believing they can do something special again. If they lose out (not saying they will) how can you possibly believe they will do anything in the post season (if they even get there)?

Yes, this is that whole pretend narrative of the Dolphins can't beat good teams. We've been force fed that nonsense all season. Apparently all bad teams are the equivalent of byes and we should just mark them as W's. The only wins that matter are the ones where the opposing team is over 50%. It's nauseating.

I am glad that the whole December Doom Crew has retreated back into their caves. They were particularly annoying.

I get being optimistic but my God some of you guys simply won't tolerate a little objective criticism or skepticism of this team.
There's nothing objective about what you wrote. You literally stated in your previous post you don't trust the team, which is about as unobjective as it comes. Objective would be to see a team at 10-4, is top of the stat pile even with injuries and is clawing through. But no, we have these posts.

Haven't had a leading NFL rusher - EVER at this point (at least not in my lifetime and I'm old, not older than dirt like some of you assholes however 🤣 )
Surely you're old enough to remember ricky Williams

The "season," yes...as in I don't expect them to win the division. Where does that say "they'll never beat the Jets!" You guys are pounding your chests like we just took down San Fran on the road. Today's game does not equal season...but you do you. We'll see what happens when our all back-up line goes against some real DLs the next few weeks. You can have all the faith in the world for them, I don't.
LOL the Jets DL isn't a real DL?

The distrust factor is born of a combination of about 40 years of disappointment, how much I love the dolphins and want them to win it all and a self defense mechanism in a subconscious attempt to mitigate the disappointment of it happens again. I watch every game no matter their record or prospects for the season. They are absolutely capable of beating anybody. I believe that. But you're wrong if you think there's no difference in one win bs another. Dead wrong

I mean folks, this really hasn't been a murderer's row of victims that we've taken out or anything. Let's add the Bills and Ravens at least and see where the team can land in the AFC playoffs. No one was proven correct last Monday and no one has been proven right today either. The success or failure of this season is still kind of up in the air, wouldn't you say? Let's hope for the best and see where it lands in this next month.

So you believe all the teams that won a SB, beat a murderer's row of talented teams? Interesting. 🤔 (Especially how the Dolphins lost most of those games)

Well, next 3 games will I guess tell the story, won't it?

I’m confused still. Your post makes no sense. When did I get overly excited about beating the jets?
I’m confused
May misinterpret on my part
But I thought you said you were still excited over the win

Any wagers on who's the pitcher and who's the catcher in that scenario?
