FH lost and found...

Boy you really showed me! I can see you're not capable of having a friendly discussion with an exchange of differing opinions. Very mature of you. I already said they played really well and it was great to see. Is this team "special"? Maybe. I hope so. But it's too early to tell. You mention "stats". Maybe you're half my age and into fantasy football - idk. But I couldn't give two $hits about stats. All that matters to me is winning. You're behaving like I said they stink and have no chance. They are right there in the thick of it with a chance to win it all. As for all wins being the same - you really wouldn't feel any different if they beat Dallas or Baltimore or buffalo? You wouldn't believe that this team truly could go all the way if they beat teams of that caliber?
You've been boo hooing since you signed up here. It's not new or creative. You are literally arguing about not having a spine in a thread about not having a spine. How did you expect this to go?

Ive put out numerous posts about why and how the Dolphins can beat any team. Factual based reasons. Not durrrr that team is good so we lose, that team is bad so we win.

Contextually discussing football with you is the equivalent at yelling at a cloud so like I said, collect spine and we can discuss actual football or continue pouting about how we don't beat good teams. Either or, I'm good. We have a lot of your types to continue on with.

And it's always the usual suspects who are the Peggy positives, whom every year, have their hopes and dreams crusted by this team
There is a middle ground.

Extreme on either side can be annoying when it's non stop.

Thinking that things that happened 5, 10, 20 years ago somehow have a bearing on this team is irrational. So is getting insulted when ppl that love this team have valid criticisms.

If all one does is criticize and post negativity, without also praising when appropriate, they deserve all the crap they get.

Likewise, the ones that want only positive echo chambers, dismissing obvious issues, need to develop a little thicker skin and not take it personally, as if it was a close family member that was being criticized.

So 30-0, literally blanking a PROFESSIONAL NFL TEAM, a division rival did nothing for you? With backups on backups. There really is no helping some of these fans....

It was an awesome win. I still haven't seen enough to have any confidence this team will make a legit Super bowl run. That could change in the coming weeks but as of right now, I remain unconvinced. To answer another no, not every Super bowl winner beat up on only world-beaters during their runs. But they all beat very good team son the way there. We have lost to the Bills (another shot to end the season), Eagles, and Chiefs. The Chiefs game was the only one that was remotely close. Without a win against any other upper-echelon team in the NFL, I remain skeptical. That, coupled with an astounding loss to a not-so-great Titans team (they way they lost was inexcusable) has me uneasy about this bunch. Hopefully, everything comes together to end the season. I know they beat the Jets 30-0. I also feel like they left point son the table in that game. The Jets defense is still good, but that team is a mess. It's not a win to get overly excited over. The Jets are not in the playoff hunt.

It's not so much that I'm shitting on the team as I don't trust them. I'm trying to not get overly excited in preparation for the eventual collapse, that I've seen more times than I can remember. The Jets are not a good benchmark. And anyone thinking that beating the Jets means this team is super bowl bound, is lying to themselves

Appreciate the thoughts.

I don't think anyone is "overly" excited. Just normal happy we won. Nothing different than any other week. The difference being for an entire week we had gloomers all over the board saying the team was trash, wasn't going to the playoffs, and on and on and on.

So pardon us, who never doubted for rubbing it in their faces a bit since the team we all cheer for won. Apparently after a loss we have to sit here and read all the negativity, but after a win we can't be positive. Most of those people have since disappeared, and I do give credit to the few whom have stuck around to take some licks, but again look at the thread title.

I signed up to vent after the Tennessee game because it was an historically bad loss. I've followed this site for many, many years but never signed up. I was super irritated (as any normal fan would be) after that loss. And what is this weird obsession you have with spines? WTF are you talking about? As for your numerous posts with fact based reasons the dolphins can beat any team - what does that have to do with anything? It's the NFL - Miami can beat any team and be beaten by any team - nobody needs your brilliant, fact filled posts explaining that to us. Also - I never said Miami can't beat good teams. They have three opportunities coming up to prove they can. I know they're capable of it. The success or failure of this season depends on it. Is that "contextual" enough for you, smart guy?

Be careful! He may take your spine!

Should have signed up after the Broncos game 😂

Some people, e30me chief among them, aren't getting this simple point, and are needlessly lashing out over it.

Jesus christ. Read the OP. Do you just click threads and start crying? Do you bother to read the premise? Again, not a single one of your posts has been objective, fact based or really displayed any knowledge of football whatsoever.
