Fiedler vs. Griese

Who cares about the past.

Who do you guys think did better for us in the 2003 season?I was just wondering if we should of kept griese. I mean look what he did in Tampa. He had a pretty decent year.

We wouldnt have had this problem if hairlip was gone before, Griese would kick *** in a good system and with a good o line. Its a shame how many stupid descions the Wanny regime made, so lets just forget about it and go on with our lives.

No. Wade Smith blew that Indy game by letting Dwight Freeney turn him into a human turnstile. Griese's inability to hang onto the ball didn't help, but if Smith hadn't let Freeney break land speed records in getting to the passer, it wouldn't have been an issue.
I totally agree with you, I dont believe that Griese was the only one to put the finger on.
Also I feel that he was better then Fiedler by large.

taking that a step further we ALL could see what was happening, the kid was getting mauled, and yet the coaches did not get him help

Brian went to a team with an offensive mind...

It will be interesting to see what Jay can do in NY with Heimerdinger (sp?) calling the plays and a full offensive cast around him.

If Penny doesn't do more than lob nerf balls pretty soon, Jay will be the starter for the Jets.

well i guess there is hope for some of you jokers after all .I am glad somebody is seeing the light. i feel very strongly about this but if you would give brian greise a oline and a rb to go along with chambers and booker i would predict that we would be playing in the super bowl . yes guys and lady i am a believer in greise why ? I have no clue . well its almost time to watch accorrding to jim so i must leave you now to take some comedy notes from the master of comedy. by the way female finfan did know that you are a goddess ?

:chuckle:

This is kinda late. I'm a Griese fan ever even when he was with the Broncos and I was really rooting for him while he was here. Considering he had barely any time to gel with the offense, it's surprising that he did somewhat well. Could've given him another chance here instead of Fiedler, who hasn't done anything with his years with the Fins. But oh well, it's done, Rick's fired and Griese's doing well now for Tampa, our QB situation is shaky and Dumbo's backing up Pennington. I would certainly feel better if we had Griese competing for the starting spot instead of Frerotte/Feeley since our O-Line has much improved (Tampa's was rated worse than ours last year). But whatever...

When i think of Brian Griese in a dolphins uniform all i can think about is him getting the job done and fumbleing when we needed him most. Im really not sure if this was a habbit of his but i swear i remember it happening on multiple occations. I was so happy when one of his first throws agaist the skins was a td. I wasnt sad to see him go, except for his fathers legacy, until i saw his success in tampa.

And any Miami fan who defends Fiedler sure must like seeing td's go the other way, b/c that's the only thing he did well.

Trash... and Trash... next topic!

I would give that award to AJ and i sure hope he can throw td's our way this season.

I just watched that game on tape a week a ago and you right on! Wade was playin in slow motion, I thought for sure they would have cut him on that game alone.
