Fin Fans in Tampa

I don't know how many games we'll get down here in Tampa, Miami and Tampa both play at 1:00PM Weeks 1, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, and 17. When Tampa and Miami play at the same Time Tampa always has Dibs.

So Counting the Bye week and the week we play Tampa we should get to see our Fins about 6-7 times. That's saddening.....

Still looking for a solid Dolphin Bar to watch the games though.....
You're looking at it the wrong way. Tampa plays primarily on Fox while Miami primarily plays on CBS.

Not sure how the markets are in other places but here in Charlotte, if the Panthers are playing at home there won't be another game on the other channel. There also won't be a game on the same channel after the Panthers game is over with.

It's like this:

1pm: Falcons @ Panthers (Fox)
4pm: Colts @ Steelers (CBS)

When they're on the road then double headers are shown. Doesn't really bother me though since I have DTV.

Really, huh. Where I live they play games on both stations at the same time if there's two double headers they play them. I find that weird. Like you though it really doesn't bother me either because of the Ticket.

barnacles in brandon. that is all you need to know my friend.

True. I go to all the games there. 500 TVs, cheap beer, good food, EVERY game is on, it's like a friggen night club there on Sunday afternoons.

Doesn't matter. The local team has the right to block TV games when they play at home. The thought is people will go to the home game since there's no football on TV to watch. That's the reason I keep my DirecTV. If someone finds a good sports bar in Tampa to watch Dolphins games please come back on here and let us know. Maybe we can all get together and watch a game or two.

man you guys are lucky if you can watch the phins 6 or 7 times because in okla the networks only show the afc west or north so unless the phins are on abc on monday nights i rarely get to see my boys in aqua. which i am planing on getting cable when i get my money situation sqaured away. it seems like the dolphins are more popular all across america except for okla kansas area. i am sick of hearing about the jets and the cowboys

Orlando is a helluva lot closer to Miami than Oklahoma and I get friggin' Jags games.

Did you say 500 TV's ...?
Yeah 500 with 4 or 5 10footers. No matter where you look there's a game on. Not a bad place to hang, it's big with a pool room also. You have to check it out at least once. There were a lot of people there for the draft. There's probably a few hundred in there on any given sunday to watch games.

Yeah, I live literally about 400 yards from Barnacles, and it is a bad @$$ place to watch any sporting event at, and yes, they have Every game on @ 1pm and 4pm.. They have TV's inside and all around the ouside patio area..

Any Dolfan's here in Tampa and any coming for the Bucs game this year should piss off the Bucs fans and have some type of Dolfan's peprally before the game or something like that.. just a thought!

Good point. But usually we would get a few prime time games that would not conflict with the Bucs games.( none this year)

That would put it in the 10 game range.....

F*ck that man- do what I did- if you can get a clear view of the southern sky, mount your dish on a 2x4 and mount the 2x4 in a bucket of cement with weights in it.

My neighbor did that. He filled the bucket with sand.

Worked out great till somebody backed their SUV over it one morning.
