The difference is back then they played for the love of the game, and now they play for the love of the money. Big difference in how things are approached.

I think it affects the mentality of how desperate you want to win as well. Because when do you just say screw it, it's tough out here today....I'm going to just chill and enjoy my millions, mansion, and cars....someone will pay me next year handsomely... I'm good...the fans want to win more than the players and that's messed up because the players are in the hell of the battle and if they don't have the will and toughness then they'll bail way sooner than you'd think....
