31-17 pats. NE is loaded this year. We could easily be playing this years SB champs the first week. I think Philbin has shown to be very average with extended time to prepare. The bills game after the bye last year, playing down to the level of Cleveland to open last year, it all leaves ya with the idea that the pats are licking their chops. It will take us a few games to get everyone on the same page in this new offense. If Wallace and Ryan can't get on the same page we could be looking at a long season.

I hate opening the season against NE. I think we can beat NE, as last year was evidenced, but not to open a season. Bellichek will have his team more polished than ours. 38-18 NE
 
If it is a low scoring game, we win

LOL, quick to jump on board for?? You do realize they have won the division 8 of the last 10 years, right?? Wanna bet some vcash on it??
 
Hard to bet against Brady but he is hitting the same age when Marino skills started to diminish so there is some hope. Downside for the Dolphins is the Pats overall improved their defense hope for the Phins is that Lazor has been holding back and will surprise the Pats. Pats have the edge at this point but phins are at home and could surprise.
 
Here's my dream:

1. We come up in an up tempo no huddle offense that has the Pats off balance all game long.
2. We get after Hollywood handsome Tommy Brady to the tune of 4 sacks.
3. Mike Wallace beats Darelle Revis for a long TD.
4. The Dolphins win the game

Reality, Pats haven't lost an opener since 2003, that's a tough streak to break.

I dont care how many games or how many times they won. I will guarantee that we will beat them this Sunday coming up.

Streaks eventually end, and normally against a divional opponants in their stadium, in 90+ degree, extreme humidity will help to assure that happening...24-17 Miami.

Pretty close to what I'm thinking. Except it will be more about the patriots and their poor showing, than the dolphins and their sound victory smdh
 
It is actually good that we are playing them early in the season and at home...let's hope it is VERY hot out...

If > 90 degrees; Phins 24 - 20; if not...Pats 31 - 17
