Fins only team that pursued Moreno.

Just makes it 100 times more frustrating that we didn't take Carlos Hyde. Serious head scratcher.

this is where not having experience and/or a good plan bites you in the ass. this is hickey's first blunder. this team needed to draft a running back. period. you wanna bring moreno in for a year and see what happens? fine. but thinking long term and given the depth of quality at running back in the mid rounds of this draft you have to take one. and it could have been done so easily by trading down in the 1st round to acquire that extra pick. remember the cards picked after us and traded down with the saints. the opportunity was there.

Stupid signing from the beginning. This guy has never been good. NEVER. He had somewhat a decent year last year and we all know why.

Is Jeff Ireland still our GM?? A big reach with our 1st round draft pick, a high profile free agent signing that already looks like a bust....

It sucks that he has to miss some important conditioning time, but I dont think this knee scope it going to have any affect on Moreno's ability. I still think he will turn out to be a decent signing. At the very worst he is an upgrade over Daniel Thomas.

*Shrugs*

Roll back those posts and see what I said. It's not hard to figgure out what a player is going
to do when you have a track record stretching back to college. That's what he does.
It's not opinion, it's a pattern of behavior/history that's not likely to change. At least he was
only signed for one year, so after this year, we won't have to worry about that turd.

Great job by all the people stumping for signing him.

Not if he can't get on the field.

That guy was a depth signing and got paid as such... Frindge player getting hurt nothing to see here...

Don't agree at all. It didn't matter who was taking hand-offs in this backfield if we didn't beef up the offensive line. I'm fine with Thomas and Miller handling the load again because just improving the offensive line (which was as bad run blocking as it was pass blocking, where most of the attention is focused) and getting a coordinator who has a clue will provide a substantive improvement right there. Moreno, even if he is not going to carry the load this year, will provide a veteran presence that will be needed at times and that Miller and Thomas just didn't have.

"high profile free agent" sounds like more of a reach than our first round pick.

What sux about this is Moreno pass protection was good now pouncey out too!
Wow looks like Tannehill going to get sacked a lot again.

Who's this high profile free agent signing you at referring to? I didn't see one this off-season

Why wouldn't he be able to get on the field? We are talking about arthroscopic surgery here. He could be playing 4 weeks after surgery, as in next month.

People seem to get really scared of the word "surgery", but this is really not a big deal

I think he is referring to Moreno. Thing is he is only making 3m with 1.5m guaranteed on a one year contract, I hardly think that qualifies as "high" profile. Daniel Thomas is making more in guaranteed money this year.
