Finsiders' Jesse Agler leaving town

Pompous? Really? I thought he was pretty down to Earth.

He tends to dismiss suggestions or questions from the fans alot opting instead to answer them with his own opinion instead of being more neutral and. Kinda came off as a jerk sometimes.

I'm sure if he was doing the play by play on the radio he'd be happy to be a part of a situation like that.

I agree. That's a marquis role and you don't have to be 100% a company shill. Rick Weaver came from elsewhere and didn't act like he had to apologize for the Dolphins all the time. He obviously rooted for the team and came up with ideas like the white hankies but as a fan you never had to worry about pathetic one-sided evaluation if things were going wrong. That was a good radio group in general, with Henry Barrow handling the sldeline and post game interviews. I lost interest after that group and never got the fascination with Mandich. He'll always be #88 to me, the skinny pass catching tight end.

wonder how many times he said "Makes a lot of sense" when he got the offer

I like him...
But I cant stand the way he pronounced his "T"s
He would say Jonathon MarDEN instead of Martin
and lots of other "T" words

He is a butt kisser who never sees anything wrong with the Dolphins. If a talk show host can't be objective, then I have no use for him. He has no credibility. Good riddance.

He's doing what Ross should do with the dolphins. leave town.

He's leaving??? Hallelujah!

OMG, I don't think many of you listen to that show. I wanted to strangle him 99 percent of the time, and the other 1 percent I wanted to strangle myself.

That's too bad. He ran the show quite well, and was pretty objective considering that he worked for the team. I really liked how he preferred to discuss the present and not try to project the future too much. Some, but not too much.

I like your sig dude. That made me laugh out loud.

If anyone ever knew him personally he was far from arrogant. One of the nicest people I have met in the organization. Really great guy and professional. Sad to see him go but definitely wish him the best.

I like the guy but the T thing always bugs me. It's only when the T is in-between syllables. MarDen, DrayDen, PayDon Manning
