Fish Castoff D-Line vs the "Browncos"

Interesting points. 1) Warren was the scapegoat for Cleveland's sorry D. He's been stellar in Denver so far. You will see on Sunday.

Again, 31st in the league vs. the run, and you have 4 of their linemen, 3 starting. As soon as Romeo Crenell got there, what did he do? Toss all of these linemen who fit the 3-4 scheme he wants to run. Ever wonder why? Probabaly not, but still.

2) Courtney Brown has Bruce Smith-like talent. As I said, anything we get from him is merely gravy but IF he manages to stay healthy, he's a stud.

No, he doesnt. He's a bust, pure and simple.

3) You'd rather have Traylor than Pryce?:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: You forget WE already had Traylor when he was still in his prime. He's long past that now. How many 35 year old NT's do you see that can play? Nuff said.

Note the fact that the vast majority of quality Nose Tackles and 2-gap run stuffers in this league are older then 30 at this point.

4) The close game last year was close only on the scoreboard. Look it up. You were dominated on both sides of the ball, 2:1 in total offense, time of possession...we ran the ball down your throats. a 3:1 turnover dissadvantage kept it close. Also, Denver played poorly down the stretch for the last 6 games. Don't expect it in the operner.

Dominated on both sides of the ball? THE SCORE WAS 20-17 AND THE GO AHEAD SCORE WAS A FIELD GO WITH 2:50 LEFT. Are you an idiot? There was no dominating in that game. Put aside the fact that we played the game with TWO starting members of our front 7 from opening day.

4) You THINK this team is improved...based on what? A rookie head coach? A rookie running back yet to take his first pro snap? A QB who is a career backup and can't run at all? Signing other teams castoffs who were as non-productive as you accuse the "Browncos" of being?

Again... you're ignoring the fact that your entire D-line besides Pryce is made up of guys not good enough to play for the Cleveland Browns. You're ignoring the fact that Plummer was YANKED last time we played, and is career backup quality.

Dude the only one who's even in the same league of talent of Taylor, Carter, and Traylor is Pryce, and he's been injured lately.

Our D-line is one of the best in the league...our front 7 is one of the best in the league.QUOTE]
That's truly funny. Taylor is still good, though not great. Traylor is drawing social security and can't move more than 2 feet in either direction. He's the perfect NT for our run scheme to dominate because Denver isn't like other teams. They force the D-line to run sideline to sideline on every play. Even though we run between the tackles, we do so by moving wide and cutting back. Traylor will be eaten alive inside. You've forgotten we've seen him more than you have. We drafted him and brought him back for the Superbowl runs in the late 90's. We got rid of him because he wears down drastically over the last half of the year, and that was when he weighed 305. He's HUGE now...and will be puffing wind in this game chasing Plummer and trying to move sideways while avoiding the inevitable cut block. Carter was at his best 4 years ago and has been average since, on a very average Titans defense.

Pryce is 100% healthy.

Log in as "Elway Rules", then sit back and enjoy the show.

Raider fans have been here a few times, and I have found them way more respectful then some of you have shown to be.

Taylor is better than anyone on your line. Let's just stop that converstion there.

Everyone knows Elway wouldn't have won crap without Davis. He bearly had over half the Tds Dan did in his career....and way more seasons with more INTs than TDs in a season. (Dan had 1, which wouldn't have been the case if he hadn't come play the Cowboys way earlier than he should have)
