I don't get the outrage about his decision. It was CLEAR as day that he wanted the Rams. Ross did everything possible, offered his authority, VP position, Ross WILL NOT GET OUTBID. But it's not always about the money, it's about comfort. And Fisher wanted the Rams because of the easy division one, and he probably was waiting to see if the Rams can match the Dolphins package. But it was always going to be the Rams.

So now you guys can stop talking about how Ross won't get outbid, because it has never and will ever come about money. If it is about money then we made the wrong choice (Saban, Jimmy Johnson).

If it was about money we would have our young Don Shula in Harbaugh right now.

I think we just dodged a bullet. I think Fisher is overrated, and I hope Zimmer gets a second interview. I think Zimmer is the guy this franchise needs.

So everyone relax, and try to keep dolphinbryan from killing himself.

Glad we didn't get him...but none of even know what the dealings were and what was or was not given or offered at this point. Too much speculation going on right now. Fisher wanted this and that....nobody knows for sure right now.

Im not surprised. Im used to this team losing out on whatever. Im certain we will lose the coin flip for draft position with the Panthers.

This will work out to our benift...I have been a fan from the first game the fins played and probably are more comfortable than most. Fisher was good but getting a chance for one of these young hungry coord's is the right call.

No surprise

Even with doubts about the Rams moving and a lower salary offer on the table they were still a better option. Says it all about our front office

If Ross would have given Fisher head of personnal decisions, he would be a Dolphin right now.

Agreed. On NFL radio yesterday they mentioned the weak division the Rams were in and said that perhaps Fisher didn't want to face Belichick and Brady twice a yr. If that was a contributing factor in his decision then I wouldn't want him. He's a coward. At least when Rex took the Jets HC job he wasn't intimidated by Belichick.
Should the Bears, Lions, Falcons, Bengals just give up because they have tough teams in their division.
The Pats are good, but they are not dynasty good. They have a weak defense, average WR's and average O-line. They haven't won a playoff game in over 3 yrs. You would think we were talking about the Steelers of the 1970's or the 49'ers of the 1980's and 90's

Actually, I think it says a lot more about Fisher. He's a coward and afraid of competition.

Holy **** everyone needs to stop crying and acting like the world is against us! We will be fine and we have a 50 50 chance to win the coin toss! This "Whoa is me" attitude is SO annoying!!!

It's funny how people can say that Fisher sucks.. But a guy like Zimmer with no head coaching experience.. is going to be a savior,

Absolute non sense.

I would never hire someone for my business that doesn't have experience.

It was all about control for Fisher. Nothing else. They haven't even agreed on a contract yet. Money was irrelevant. Fisher wanted control over players, the draft, FA's and coaches.

Honestly I was never in favor of hiring Fisher, as some have already said he's overrated. I'd like to see a young rising coordinator come in to take the reigns. I think I may be one of the few on this site that's actually happy Fisher chose the Rams.

So you hear someone on a radio show floating a possible reason why Fisher might choose the Rams (like he needs another one) and you're now spouting it like it's gospel even though it makes zero sense. I guess you believed plenty of garbage that was spouted this past week

Well done
