Five reason why the Dolphins will be better than the NY Jets

I think the Jets may very well end up last in the AFCE. IMO, I think that Ryan is going to be exposed as a deficient HC who is clueless about the offense. Schottenheimer covered Jabba's big butt on offense, but Sparano hasn't shown that he's much more than a bean-counter. OOOPS! With Sparano as the Jests OC and with the dynamic QB tandem of Sanchez and Tebow, I can see stupifying offensive battles reminiscent of the 6-3 Bills loss to the Cleveland Browns at home in 2009 or the 7-3 Donkeys loss to KC in 2011. I see Sanchez being replaced by Tebow before mid-season (that's really why the Jests traded for him), and the Jets not having anything like the "success" Tebow and the Donkeys had in 2012 since teams have learned how to defend him.

As for the Bills, I think most Bills fans, myself included, think anything less than 9-7 would be a failure. We are expecting big things from our team compared to previous years. However, most of us are very wary. There's a big gap between talent on paper and success on the field.

Rex is being exposed as a deficient HC but Chan gailey in his 60s w/ ZERO postseason wins is just the greatest.

Yes, the jets trdaed for Tebow to start and are taking such care of him that he will be used as the up man on punts. That is brilliant analysis.

talent on paper Buffalo is 3rd in the div where they will most likely end up in the standing sif they can hold off Miami.

You probably weren't around here in '09 & '10 b/c Buf was hopeless at that point but I have NEVER said we made 2 title games b/c of Sanchez, I have always said he HELPED get us there and he did along w/ helping us out of the playoffs in 2011.

Clearly the Jets are preparing for Tebow to take over which is why they will have him as the up man on the punt team.

He's a nice backup QB who will give us an added dimension on O and has more playoff wins under his belt than Mia & Buf combined since 2002.

A nice back-up who threw an interception to a player who didnt have one day of practice in joining a brand new team and Bart Scott who has no idea what an interception is, on 7 on 7's no less.

You are going to use OTA's to judge? seriously? You must be really high on Sanchez then b/c he performed well in OTAs according to all reports.

Interesting points. I would argue that even with a healthy Garrard, you can't rank the Dolphins QB situation much better than the Jets. I agree on the offensive philosophy and locker room harmony, although I can see Tony doing much better as an OC than a HC

Agreed. RT is unproven rookie. Matt Moore is just average. Hate to say it, but Sanchez is still young enough to learn and improve and may not have reached his ceiling. It is a big If but he MIGHT improve. If RT is a fast learner and ramps up along with a reliable MM just in case then the separation is wider. The locker room will be better and the D's are more comparable than Greenie fans might want to think. RBs are definitely going to be better the the Jets'.

Ahh, I suppose you are happy with that performance, even if the pads werent off.. Now if he is playing this piss poorly with the pads off, just imagine how bad he will be playing with the pads on! The "experts" on the opening drive were even bashing Teblow for those pics. The simple fact that he is still showing to be horrible passer, even on 7 on 7 drills, should scare even you..

One thing for sure- Tony won't be developing Tebow

It'll be funny watching the Jets players laugh at him when he does his cheerleader antics just like our players laughed at him.. Most notably Long laughing in his face - ill never forget that. Hiring the meatball could get Rex canned,.

Heh, I forgot all about that!

Actually it's a Machiavellian plot by Ross; The Meatball is deeply imbedded, a little like tooth decay that's passed beyond the filling stage and is on its way to becoming a root canal. Since their OL wasn't in enough flux last season, Ross also is double-paying the tag-along Eggplant to continue to manage Wayne Hunter and corrupt Mangold. Briliiant ploy.

I don't evaluate based on OTAs, good or bad.

Maybe that's why Long has been on nothing but losing teams since that fluky '08 season?

same reason Mangold's been on an 11-5 team
sandwiched in between a 7-7-2 one (he really helped during that 6 out of 7 game losing streak,.. or where they legitimately needed to beat Atlanta at home in game 14, eh?)
and the most recent 8-8 one.

One legitimate winning season out of 3.

Jake has been injured more often than not, thanks to another boneheaded decision your OC made to play him in the 2010 exhibition season. Even so, a 60% healthy Long outplayed DaBrick every year, especially this one.

I doubt the 4 time ProBowler, 4 time All Star is a problem... Meatball doesnt earn the respect of his players over the long haul. You will see and agree that when his offense does nothing, the cheerleading will turn players off and they will stop playing for him exactly like what happened in Miami..

Also, the Jets getting into the playoffs in 2009 was more fluky than us getting in in 2008, what with the colts AND the Bengals letting you in!

Mangold has been on one of the best teams in the league the last few years and has FOUR playoff wins under his belt or four MORE than Jake and co.

Now everything bad that happened is Tony's fault but I thouht everything was going to be great when you got rid of Henning? I can't wait to read you trash Philbin 2 years from now.

His players loved him and played hard for him, he just didn't have enough talent and wasn't that good of a HC. It's comical how all of Miami's problems are now b/c of Tony.

We got a qtr and a half of Indy backups in a 5 pt game then were beating the Cincy starters 27-0 before they pulled them. You got 5-6 weeks of dead teams most of them really bad.

Mangold gets credit for getting to one legit postseason, just like Long; Indy gets credit for gifting another unworthy one. And yes, the decision to play Jake in the last exhibition game was on The Meatball- and everyone knew it.

Yeah, in 6.5 quarters, you were outscored by Colts starters 45-27... the equivalent of 55-33 over 2 full gamesbut considering how Indy manhandled the jest 24-zero in the last 31 minutes of the playoff game, maybe I'm giving them too much credit for any additional points scored. Big difference between Peyton and Curtis Painter and his scary 4QBR. Jest beat a dead team in Cinci that was 3-3, having scored beaten no winning teams and losing to 2 over the last 6 games while scoring exactly as many points as they gave up. The team had peaked and at that point was comparable to Denver's 6-0 start before reality also caught up with them. At best an 8-8 season.. and if anything that's an indictment on Rex because he took over a 9-7 team to begin with.
