Five reason why the Dolphins will be better than the NY Jets

yeah trailing by 5 in one game then trailing by a FG w/ less than 10 mins left are embarrassing blowouts. You would think a phin fan that has seen 62-7, 38-3 and all the other postseason disasters would know what a real blowout looks like.

what part of curtis painter 4QBR (did he suddently improve this past season, huh?) and starters winning 45-27 when playing including 24- ZERO in the last 31 minutes (but without Sanders and with a hobbled Feeney) don't you get? Don't even try to spin that one, you'll embarrass yourself. 2009 is not even Sammy Sosa *asterisk-worthy but more like *Rafael Palmiero's.

Heh, I forgot all about that!

Actually it's a Machiavellian plot by Ross; The Meatball is deeply imbedded, a little like tooth decay that's passed beyond the filling stage and is on its way to becoming a root canal. Since their OL wasn't in enough flux last season, Ross also is double-paying the tag-along Eggplant to continue to manage Wayne Hunter and corrupt Mangold. Briliiant ploy.

Oh my... I forgot (maybe repressed into my subconscious because of the trauma) the "lab experiments" that Sparano would make all through the preseason so that the OL would never get set or reps together. I wonder how many weeks into the season it will be until the Jets line even begins to jell. I'm not a Jets fan but this shouldn't be allowed by the Geneva Convention.

what part of trailing by 5 w/ a qtr and a halfmto play and trailing by 3 w/ under 10 mins left don't you get?

Miami had playoff destiny in heir hands the last 3 weeks against 3 teams not headed to postseaspn- they lost all 3. STOP WHINING!

Mangold has been on one of the best teams in the league the last few years and has FOUR playoff wins under his belt or four MORE than Jake and co.

Now everything bad that happened is Tony's fault but I thouht everything was going to be great when you got rid of Henning? I can't wait to read you trash Philbin 2 years from now.

His players loved him and played hard for him, he just didn't have enough talent and wasn't that good of a HC. It's comical how all of Miami's problems are now b/c of Tony.

We got a qtr and a half of Indy backups in a 5 pt game then were beating the Cincy starters 27-0 before they pulled them. You got 5-6 weeks of dead teams most of them really bad.

You couldnt be farther from the truth, bro! In the beginning Meatballs players loved him, but that love soon disappeared when on the field, and BLATANTLY mind you, the players gave up on him, 2 years in a row, because they knew he wasnt capable of coaching them to victories and was incapable of making decisions in general.. Dont even dare to sit there and try to spin in your favor, something I am 100% correct on.. you have ZERO basis for such a quote. Yes, Tony was the HC and it was 100% his fault why we have sucked every year during his tenure.

and you are 100% wrong again in thinking we thought everything would be great once Henning left.. I KNEW it wouldnt when Tony brought in a guy with a worse offense than we had the prior year in Dabol! Keep trying to convince yourself otherwise. It is laughable because although you can sometimes hold your own in these forums, with the topic of Meatball, you are 100% wrong ON ALL COUNTS! Dofans are the experts when it comes to him, Jets fans know nothing in comparison!

His teams never quit, even last year at 0-7 they didn't quit.

I always do more than hold my own and I am doing so here, Tony was not a good Hc but his teams didn't quit w/ the possible exception of week 17 2010.

2009 started 0-3, were 7-6 controllomg their playoff destiny
2011 started 0-7, won 4 of his last 6 before he was fired.

Not a good HC but didn't have the talent to win and his team didn't quit outside of that one game.

You are experts when it comes to him as a HC, NONE of us have any idea how well he will do as an OC.

Keep telling yourself that, because youve seen every game, unlike me, that Meatball has coached. I know how he's going to do as an OC.. And its going to be pretty.. Addition by subtraction for Miami, and in hiring Meatball, automatically makes Miami better than Jets

This is getting fatiguing; I am developing a real appreciation for what teachers go through.

automating from here on in:

what part of this either don't you understand or can take issue with (no room for Curtis Painter and his 4QBR on there)

Yep, he sucks. he single handedly held down an entire organization, he took a 1 win team won an average of 8 games the next 3 seasons- clearly he was the only problem in your organization.

He clearly does not succeed in decision making roles.. Which is why Dolfans everywhere are excited that he is your OC. Miami will rank higher in offense than Jets

Spinning until he's dizzy. On one hand Tony's teams don't quit but on the other hand, the only way to explain Moore's superiority over Sanchez and the Fins closing at 6-3 outscoring their opponents during this stretch 222-147 vs the jest at 4-5 and being outscored 205-211 was previously that there was no pressure with nothing to play for (yeah, except pride and jobs LOL).

It's hard for him to keep track of whatever BS parses best into his homeristic narratives.

Here's another one: in 09 junc refuses to acknowledge the charity and probably outcome of sitting home after losing games to Atl they should have won for a legit shot and at one point losing 6 out of 7 in a row... if the colts didn't pull their starters and played for an undefeated season, thereby placing undue emphasis on 2 undeserved playoff games vs a dead team walking and a choking team that beat themselves forgetting what a miserable season they truly had.

But watch, when it comes to the Fins and Moore outperforming the jest who choked at 8-5, the last part of the season doesn't count when determining which is the better team.

yes I spin, I'm the one who used to talk up Tony as if he was the next Bill walsh, I'm the one who said he was better than rex, I'm the one who makes every excuse in the book for the Jets success, I'm the one who every year says Miami will be better than the Jets

This years Matt Moore is last year and 2 years ago Chad henne who was once Daunte Culpepper, john Beck, Trent Green

This years Philbin is Sparano from 2-3 years ago and Cam Cameron & Saban before him.

The cycle never ends, your homerism never ends, your Jets jealousy never ends.

Jets jealousy.. Thats good one.. Jealous of a white trash team.. Just like a typical Jets fan.. While Meatball was here he was horrible (which is true) and now that he is with the Jets he is godly...

Show me one quote where I said Sparano is going to be great? Once again you post outrageous info to deflect from your weak posts. At some point you will actually post things I have written instead of making things up b/c you have nothing.

While by the same token you're still talking up the guy who no one wanted to hire except a bean counter; the DC who his own astute GM knew him best and was willing to risk losing by hiring a position coach over him; one who took a 9-7 team and turned it into a 7-7-2 team choking against a 6-7 team at home for a legit shot at the playoffs.. one who has at best 1 legitimate winning season out of 3 and is very much in Rich Kotite Philly territory. The one who doesn't know how to develop a QB or when his clubhouse is imploding.

Oh and Moore is better than Henne but Henne is better than Sanchez and I was using the same reasons including butterfingered receivers and porous OLs that you dismissed as BS that you started playing when Sanchez began ****ting the bed. As bad as Wayne Hunter is, he was no worse than Vernon Carey last season and of course Columbo. And you cry injury but Jake was playing hurt all season. Still, with as bad if not worse an OL and a receiver who dropped 3 or 4 of his TDs in the end zone, Moore way outplayed Sanchez as did his team the jest over more than half the season. But of course you don't give credit to the late season in a vacuum unless it involves charity and wins against a choking kicker and dead team walking, eh?

You're right, the cycle never ends: but with the Eli claims plus propping sanchez up against the likes of Ryan and Rivers, not trading him for a first, and trying to claim that a team with 1 winning season in 3 was "elite" let alone still is, you're spin cycle has officially jumped the shark as I'm not the only one to notice.
