Florio: Ross' best play at this point is to sell the team

The bolts pop out of Florio's neck every time the Dolphins are mentioned. I'm used to it. He was unprofessional yesterday, even for him, in his slamming of Miami before the dust had begun to settle. Now Ross needs to sell the team? WTF.

If you noticed, Peter King and Adam Schefter have come around with positive comments since yesterday.

Another black eye for Ross and the Dolphins. What's new?

That depends on your perspective. Who the hell is Mike Florio to tell a very successful billionaire how to manage his investments?
In Mr. Ross' world, flies like Mike Florio are irrelevant (as he should be).
You have such a negative view of this team that you automatically agree with every negative opinion.

All this fuss over Jeff Fisher? Wow, you would think he was Lombardi reincarnated

It's a speculative hatchet piece chock full of unnamed sources penned just days after a close friend of the writer was fired by the person being attacked in the piece.

All I'm saying is, these guys write agenda driven hit pieces all the time.

He says it is his opinion and I suspect those sources are job seeking and thats why they are nameless.

Won't be Mangini, not a chance. I am a little tired of hearing the media, especially guys like Mike Florio, take these shots at the Dolphins. The Dolphins didn't lose Fisher to the Rams, they basically rejected Fisher because they have a plan for the front office structure that Fisher wasn't onboard with.

If there's one thing that modern-day journalism teaches us its this: never let the truth get in the way of your agenda.

I'm an old school Finatic. I grew up watching Marino in the REAL Orange Bowl back when I was in elementary school.

I liked Wayne Huizinga & I've been very blunt & outspoken about my disdain for Ross and just about every move he has made since he became majority owner, BUT...

This is the first thing that Ross does that I agree 100% with. Maybe he is getting the hang of being an NFL owner afterall. More power to dumbo and the old fogey billionaires club. :chuckle:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot...

Florio is just as much a self promoting, pompous windbag as Peter King and Bob Costas. Those guys get paid to talk NFL and all they really do is talk about themselves and how they want the NFL to be...

Sell the team....yea right!! Florio can take his opinions, shove them straight up his arse, and set fire to them.

Sigh. I remember a time when there was actually journalistic integrity and responsibility. Now its just lazy, mindless writing with as much forethought as that which a child possesses

That goes along with the mindless agreeing from certain folks on here too. Blind allegiance perhaps? What happens once the team is a consistent winner?

Please let this thred die. We need to quit feeding this guy! Bet hes on here loving it.

You do know don't you that Florio is a former shyster lawyer who likely couldn't cut it and decided to reinvent himself, eh? Dime a dozen lawyers, some of who in this economy are baggers at Publix. His opinion has about as much traction as Michelle Ryan's on the virtues of monogamy. :idk:

As far as Mangina, no thanks I hope to holy hell not, but if by the remote chance we hired him, there's always the "...but, but..but Belicheat failed in Cleveland and look at him now..." (anomalies trumps rules) card to play similar to the one by those who defended Fisher's mediocrity. So there's always a silver lining.

Mr. Ross, I think your time is better spent finding the next "young Don Shula" than posting on fan boards.

Does Florio REALLY think Ross is going to sell the team after buying it just 3 years ago?
