If I can't do anything about it, what does me or anyone drinking the "kool-aid" have to do with anything? I could have a shrine with a Joe Philbin statue in my house and I can pray to it all day if I wanted. Nothing I do makes a difference.

You're to come off as a passive aggressive a** that always knew that Joe would fail from the moment he was hired, from the moment following the 3rd game of our 3-0 start =/

Way too many of those types around lately.. If it's not our QB, it's our coach, if not our coach it's the way this team has been ran. People refuse to accept the fact this team has been in this pause motion since 2000. For all the crap our team takes from media, let alone from fanbase, you would think we are hiring Joe Gibbs way past his mental football state, fielding J.Russell type of qbs, etc.. Ross may not be the brightest when it comes to football moves and owning a team, but I would take the circle of people that have his ear over 80% of the stuff fielded on here as of late. STOP making it sound like Ross just wanted a toy to own and now doesn't care how it's played with, if we win, he wins in form of money. If the coaches win, they win contract extensions which is.. MONEY. Players win, they become household names, more money either from us or via FA. People need to realize just because we are accepting the fact we have Joe as our coach for this season doesn't mean we are cheering about 8-8 seasons, we have seen a cycle of coaches since Shula, cycle of QBs since Dan, it's all in time people... you keep pushing and we may end up with Lane Kiffin folks

No one fits our schemes. Our schemes aren't very good. That is a reflection on the Philbin. Thankfully, Sherman was fired, and I really like what I've read and seen from Bill Lazor, so there is reason for some hope. Having said that, Philbin has done enough things to make me wonder if he is the answer. This will be a make or break season for him, although you never know with Stephen Ross in charge. I swear he has a magic 8 ball as his football adviser.

I completely believe it. You're telling me if you're a player on the Dolphins that Philbin is a guy who would get you charged up to play for, feeling prepared each week, and someone who you'd follow into battle? The guy doesn't come across as a leader.

Seems to me like Ireland let those guys walk because he wanted more cap space to make room for his spending spree.

Yep, made the same comment in another thread about this. Why do you think Armando Salguero and other reporters absolutely relish dumping on the franchise? Because the franchise relishes dumping on them.

Joe Philbin's end of season press conference was a joke. An absolute joke. It was like nine minutes. Nine minutes. Reporters still had a ton of questions and he just strolled on out of there after saying a whole lot of nothing.

Compare that to Bill Belichick, someone who is constantly criticized for being media unfriendly. Belichick is awful after a loss, he gives only one word answers and says absolutely nothing. But when he is interviewed before each game in the media day conference call / presser, he makes himself very available and answers everything. And in-depth. He's actually really insightful and has some super interesting stuff to say at times. And he stands up there and answers EVERY single question, asking multiple times at the end if anyone in the press has more questions for him. IIRC Ben Volin even commented in a radio interview a while back that Belichick was actually BETTER to try to work with than Philbin.

Joe Philbin answers five questions with "Well I can't really say anything about that" and then rides off into the sunset. And that's why the local press takes a dump on his chest every day.

Joe's decision to stick with the Parcells media policies is one of the very worst he's made as head coach.
