it doesnt matter because nobody wants to come play with this ownership... so we are stuck with garbage.... im tired of spending my money on this team.. i was done last year

I'm not sure if he was good in College but didn't he win a national chapionship and was the MVP of the Bowl game? he couldn't have sucked that bad. . .

At this point getting Manning would require cutting and trading more players, and no one knows for certain if he'll even be able to survive on serious hit or not, and even if he can, no one can even be sure if his arm is going to be back to full strength. Tanny? is that your solution? sure he might be good, or he might be another in a long line of project QBs all over this league. Weeden? ok maybe, with him you still got the age thing. Um Luck and RGIII are already gone. so what is your solution OP? do nothing? Might as well, I'd be surprized if your not among the masses of people who will crucify Ireland for not making an attempt to add a QB this offseason.
Every QB out there is flawed, FLynn however at least offers a QB who already knows the system, something NO OTHER QB on the market can offer.

He backed up Russell for most of his career, got to start as a senior and almost got benched a few times during the year.....

um. why bother to reason with you. you've obviously got an ax to grind and facts be damned you don't seem to care. For those reasonable posters here who do care... almost being benched must be like almost being pregnant. either you are or your aren't and FLYNN WASN't benched his senior season. Agree, truth is there is always going to be people who support both sides until its too late and we are 1-15, 7-9 etc.... unfortunately the formula for success lies with a great QB and we dont have one and wont for atleast one more year in my opinion

First of all how do we know that if he's never even taken a snap with us!??! Second, he KNOWS Phiblin's system. And finally, I think the Peyton Manning ship has passed. Time to bring Flynn in so he can go thru camps and all that to be ready for the season. Jeez, I swear some people just like to complain for the sake of complaining without even knowing the facts!
