Flynn=ajfeeley 2.0. Dolphins are the best at picking up other teams garbage!

In a way I am starting to believe the NFL is all scripted and laid out. (you know create drama, Manning where will he conquer, who will sign where, oh look who signed for what, oh a shocking trade.)

You didn't have this garbage in the 70's, 80's, 90's....

I thought this new collective bargaining agreement was supposed to address some of these outrageous salaries during free agency?

Mario Williams $90mil.....?

I bet the great Reggie White is rolling in his grave.

Mario Williams is way overrated, $90mil, are you kidding me....?

As the years go by, the NFL is becoming more and more like the WWF.

um. why bother to reason with you. you've obviously got an ax to grind and facts be damned you don't seem to care. For those reasonable posters here who do care... almost being benched must be like almost being pregnant. either you are or your aren't and FLYNN WASN't benched his senior season. OP, you may now continue to grind your ax, please don't drop it and lop off your own toes.

everyone is entitled to their opinion. i respect yours regardless if it does not coincide with my beliefs.... maybe its the fact that 14 years as a season ticket holder for 4 seats has really built up alot of hatred in me, i gave them up because i felt like the team was taking advantage of its fans the last few seasons...

Is he unproven? Yes! Is he AJ? I am not sure, but one thing that I am sure of is that he has more ties to the organization and our head coach has coached him for the last few years, which is far more than any coach knew about AJ when the traded for him. So I would have to believe that if Philbin wants him to run his offense here then he knows more than any of the rest of us about what Flynn can or cannot do. If we end up signing Flynn then I will be hopefull until proven otherwise.

Ill give you that, could we be trying to get him at this point because there is nobody else out there?

We just hired a new coach and O coordinater that know him well. I think the Manning thing was for Ross and Flynn was the plan all along. Got to give the coach some lee way. He'll be called out if it doesn't work out for sure so trust his decision.

It is always possible but I have to ask you outside of Manning what QB is really out there that is a bonified starter? Should we have brought Henne back over taking a chance on Flynn? I would rather go with Flynn. It is possible that if Manning signs with the Titans then Hasselback would likely be available and despite his bad back he played fairly well (not steller) when he was in. He would be a option. I still think that Tannehill is who we are really targeting but I really hope that we don't go into the season with Moore, him and the Devlin as our QBs...

no one else is out there. it's manning, flynn or draft. the other choices were what... henne and Orton. Hasselback will shake loose if manning goes to the titans, but i'm not sure he's the bandaide I want on my team. hassleback and tanny?

As it has been stated before. Who would the naysayer clowns want beside broke neck Manning who doesn't want to play with the Fins? Nobody worth anything is left. Take a chance on Flynn. Won't cost anything but money. I don't think that much money at that. They did not want to mortgage the future like Washington did hoping a QB works out. If they were already at the spot number 1 or 2 then yeah, draft Luck or RG3. But they weren't. I know, some of you clowns still talk about Mattie Ryan. Ok QB not great. I'm sorry he's not great. A lot of you people wanted Brady Quinn. A lot of you people were crying they did not pick him up on that draft day. It goes to show, those who wanted that guy, YOU KNOW NOTHING. Nobody knew Brady would be Brady before he got to play. Let it play out and hope for the best. This guy my be the real deal. Or not.

Just saying, i know Peyton was our first choice but i feel like nobody else has swooped in to go after Flynn.... Is he AJ FEELEY 2.0? i dont know but i know one thing... Miami Dolphins are the best at picking up other teams garbage!! Cant argue that

LMAO

Would you put Dansby, Bush, Burnett, Fasano in that category too?

How about Wake?

Better yet, why don't you get in Wake's face and tell him that in person. Man up.

it doesnt matter because nobody wants to come play with this ownership... so we are stuck with garbage.... im tired of spending my money on this team.. i was done last year

and yet here you are!!!

You know I'm not an expert by any means, however I been around Football both playing and watching for over 25 years. I'm still involved at the HS level with my sons and nephews. I got to watch Matt Flynn at the Chick-Fil-A bowl in 2005 LSU vs. Miami Hurricanes (40-3 Matt was named the MVP).

I wasn't impressed with his throws or slow reads to be honest. That LSU team was solid on many levels, including having Joseph Addai running the ball that game. Matt had lots of easy throws since they always stablished the running game earlyu and many teams, including Miami defended the run worrying about Addai moreso than Flynn.

In fact many teams prepared for LSU that season for the RUN and not PASS. Their record is somewhat misleading and many of those wins came on the Defensive side and by running the ball extremely well with Addai.

I realize his passer rating was 180! that year with 7 TDs and 1 INT. Looks great on paper, however why was he drafted in the 7th round and 209th overall? Even with all his accolades behind him? Please don't compare Brady either, that's a 1 in a million deal.

Just my .02 cents, I'd happily would pass on Flynn.

Flynn broke the TD record in Green Bay. Thats a history with Bart Starr, Brett Farve, and now Aaron Rogers.

Quiet frankly, what you did in college is not where Flynn is right now. Right now, Flynn owns the TD record in a game for Green Bay where Mr. Philbin coordinated the offense. yeah he didnt call the plays.....we know this.

and yet Philbin who has been coaching him for 4 years feels comfortable putting his job on the line for this "loser" , If Philbin wants him then I wan thim, especially in this case, you guys have to see the logic in this right? If Philbin doesn't want Flynn then we move on. . .
