Former roommate Zack Ertz spoke to Martin yesterday.........

If he wants to play football so bad he shouldn't run away when stress hits a high point. There were far better ways to handle that situation with the information we have to date. What makes me the most mad is how so many of us on here would have given our right nut, not left, to play in the NFL and he just runs away because of a stressful situation.

That's like saying: Man, I really want to be with my ex girlfriend again but I chose to break up with her and marry someone else. Oh, and she moved on too.

Martin is going to be ridiculed by opposing teams fans and opposing players. No doubt about that. IF he comes back he better have some thick skin.

Shocking development. A football player wants to play football.

It's unbelievable how far some people will take the bizarre projections, like Martin merely determined to file a lawsuit, and otherwise never pursue football again. If odds were set, that might even be established as the favorite by some posters around here.

Maybe next Monday the Dolphins will be stumbling all over the field, unable to execute a single play. That's how devastating this has been. Let's apply the nonsense and lack of real world sensibility to every mode.

Martin will play again, and among all 32 teams the singular highest odds would be for the Miami Dolphins.

He's posturing again, he won't play for miami ever again

Incognito was popular in the locker room. If he returns some players will be fine with him, but you better believe some won't. It would just divide the Locker Room, so atleast for this year I hope he stays away.

I don't see Martin coming back to Miami or any other team for that matter, Martin is not very good, he`s a dime a dozen at this point. Im pretty sure teams that need a LT will look elsewhere where there wont be a 10 000 pound elephant in the locker room...

I hope he comes back and starts before the end of the season, just to piss off some on this forum....

Eh .... Ertz doesn't really know anything about this situation other than what Martin told him, so even that he has to take with a grain of salt. Mommy and Daddy are going to ensure Martin says the right things.

I wonder what Harbaugh's thoughts are of Martin... Really the only shot he has to play in the NFL again is either San Francisco or Indy. It's the only teams with connections he has left. The rest will view him as someone who cannot be relied upon and could potentially napalm the entire organization if things don't go right for him.

i cant make any threads yet but anyway this FGT picked tampa to beat us

Miami (4-4) at Tampa Bay (0-8), 8:30 p.m. ET (Mon.): This game needs a name and I've decided on three candidates: the Unwatcha-Bowl. Obviously, because the game will be unwatchable. The Sham-Bowl. Because both locker rooms seem to be in shambles. Or the Unbeara-Bowl, because the game's going to be unbearable to watch. We could also call it the K-Bowl because I'm going to cancel my cable so I don't have to watch it. Whatever we call it, I see Tampa Bay winning it. Unless you talk me out of it. Buccaneers 23-20 over the Dolphins.
left him a few choice words on twitter

Hey look. Someone with an opinion that is in favor of Tampa. Yessssss. Not clicking on that link by the way.
