Fox Sports rips Fins Fans

Any photos of you doing this?

Did not see him on South Beach after the game, and doubt he has ever been there but, the Playwright and Deuce were SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, let's listen to the media and posters, from other city's. They know best. LOL

Any one know about the South Fla economy over the last 5 years? Guess not. The construction industry has been brought to it's knees, restaurants, and hotels are trying to survive, and the taxi cab drivers are in the same boat.

This is a large true fan base, and they just do not have the disposable income, too busy trying to make mortgage payments, paying bills, and feeding families.

By the standards of some, including this forum, they are not fans. Maybe they should be taking money to feed their kids or make a mortgage payment to go to a Dolphins game.

Those in the media, and this forum have no idea of what has happened here over the last 5 years. There are still many with money, who will go to games IF being there is an event.

Others are waiting to afford to go. True Story.

How does the team winning change the fact that the economy is poor though?

Would you even know who he was? Besides, the game was over around 11-11:15. Aren't the clubs with the hoards of sexy women just getting started at that point?

Not living in Florida has me wondering would more people show up if the stadium was in West Palm or elsewhere in South Florida? I have never been to the stadium but it looks like it's in the middle of a swamp....I don't see any restaurants, bars or buildings out there....just parking lots.

That Dolphin Bane mask is as bada$$ as it gets! I don't know if they showed that dude on TV, but everyone around me was talking about it.

Yes it is , I sat near him during the atlanta game. I took a couple pictures of him . I forgot to use flash that day so I got some crappy lighting.

The dolphins have about 40,000-60,000 fans that show up every game regardless of economy, weather, team play,...etc. They are lacking about 10,000-20,000 fans a game not 20 million.

The team winning changes the savings and spending of some.

Joking but, he likely does not know that, until now. :) South Beach does not start until midnight but, Halloween is different. It started at 8 AM. I had to go to MB City Hall Building Dept at 8, and it was a trip. All the gals were in costume, with a screeching howl when you walked in.

God, I love this place.

Forgot to mention that the early voting was going on as well. Poor old guys working the voting were somewhat at a loss. "Just form a line and we need a picture ID." "This does not look like you Miss." Answer- It's because I'm a MAN in costume YOU FOOL!"

It was some fun.

Yes and yes. It's surrounded by a huge parking lot. There's not a lot going around it. If it was in West Palm, I think there would be more people. Although I'm biased being a West Palm native.

Halloween strictly a night event. So you will skip Halloween and kids time to go watch a football game? Good luck getting that one past the wife.

You guys have wives that actually make you do family stuff during football games? I must have gotten one of the good ones.

This. When the Phins are on, I'm planted in front of the TV. Besides, at least on the east coast, who goes trick or treating at 8:30 at night? It's dark by 6:30.

Crowd was good. Quite loud and energetic. I was impressed.

During the drive home the radio broadcaster was claiming large numbers of Dolphin fans left the stadium in resignation after the Bengals took the lead 20-17. Nonsense. You always have a small percentage of fans who leave early to beat the traffic. In my section the only people who left at that stage were 4 Bengal fans who were sitting on the same row as me. I didn't see any Dolphin fans leave. It was rowdy throughout overtime and lots of jubilation for a long time leaving the stadium. Chants everywhere.

Keep in mind that the first half in that stadium is always more crowded than the second half. The early third quarter is the most vacant feeling but it never reaches the level of late second quarter. Fans find comfort in the lounges, or wherever they go. When a guy seated next to me left before halftime last night I was confident he would not return, and he did not.

I know I am one to advocate moving the team but I think Miami is a town with a serious market problem for football. The attitude down there is different and mostly hispanic.

Alot of people would rather spend there money on something else.

I know Ross is looking into Palm Beach but not sure if that fills up a stadium. Orlando would be nice and central but too close to Tampa/Jax.

I know it sucks because the stadium looked empty for the Hurricanes game last week and that is college!! student body isnt even showing up and you high ranked? the market stinks.
