Fox Sports rips Fins Fans

Any photos of you doing this?

Exactly.

LOL @ the excuses that PILE UP everytime one of these threads comes along because some media outlet got real about how S. Florida fans dont support their teams.

If it isnt the beach its something else. Fact is many NFL teams sell out each and every game. Some bad teams sell out, some dont. Most good teams sell out, some dont. South Florida fans simply refuse to go to phins games. Personally, I hope Ross moves the team out of that hell hole.

Halloween.... get real. First of all as the poster I quoted is trying to point out, people making the excuse of hot women out on Halloween couldnt get laid on Halloween or any other holiday. They think dressing up as some character helps them...... it dosent. Then you have the ones blaming their wives..... :bobdole: Grow a pair.

There have been plenty of NFL games played on Halloween night and plenty have sold out. The ones played in areas where there is a legit local fan base sell out. Not only are there plenty of hot women at the game, Im sure plenty of them dress up. Not only that, its well known by people who actually do go out for Halloween and costume BS at clubs etc... that many of these places will hold these events on the weekend before Halloween when the holiday falls on a weeknight. Im sure many establishments had Halloween themes last Saturday. Its just another in a long line of BS excuses.

Either go to the game or dont. If you didnt want to, just admit you didnt want to. Dont act like your lives are so grand that you had so many better options. Just admit it simply isnt that important to you. Not a big deal. S Florida fans are a joke.

Jesus christ THANK YOU.

I don't see how anyone with any sort of sense looks at the support South Florida teams get and still wants to make excuses. They're just bad fans.

I was going ape**** on the fanbase last night on here and people were telling me that no one should "support such a trainwreck of a team that has no chance of winning". Honestly, how pathetic is that? The team is .500 halfway through the season. How fairweather can one fanbase be?

Most people get fed up with the team. I get that sometimes. I mostly get fed up with our whiny, entitled fanbase.

seriously.. I'm 23. I've worked while going to school since 17. I go to a kings game every season and go to either a raiders or niners game every few years. if MY team was here, golly I would be there whenever possible.

EDIT: & I'm a Lakers fan

The home opener vs the Falcons the stadium was the most packed it has been in a looong time. Each week as we have lost the stadium has become less and less filled. Last night most of my usual crowd didn't go because they went trick or treaitng with the kids. That pre-game picture is a lie. The stadium was quite filled. More than it has been the past few years.

Win and they will come.

Once the pre-game laser show started the seats filled fast.
I wish I would have recorded the entire thing but i guess I hit stop when someone was trying to get in the row.

Has it ever occurred to everyone that there isn't many Dolphins fans in Miami? It's a faltering fanbase due to a decade and a half of irrelevance and mediocrity. Since then the Giants and Ravens have fan bases here in Miami. Enough with the blame the fans nonsense when there really isn't many Dolphins fans in Miami period.

I'm starting to wonder if some of you have ever even been to Miami. As many have posted there are a lot of things to do here (not me i'm a hikikomori, for the most part) on top of that go to any park and watch how many people are playing soccer, or basketball, i have to call up friends just to get a football game going cause no one plays. Walk down any street thats not coral gables and see how many people speak English (i'm from little Havana so of course NO one speaks English jk) plus the stadium isnt really in Miami Miami, just look at the cuts from south beach and down town, the stadium is like miles from those places yet they say "welcome to beautiful Miami" and show downtown when the stadiums far as hell from there. but man i cant believe those Miami fans gave up that sack fumble to Mario got dangit these fans can't block for ****!!

win and the seats will be full. F U Fox
Last week I happened to catch a "U" game on TV. Being ranked 7 in the nation you'd think they would be rockin' that stadium but if the attendance was more than 10,000 I would be surprised. I don't know if it's location, a lack of interest, to hot or having to many options but the only time that stadium is packed full is for soccer games, or so I'm told.

Since the city declined to support Ross with the upgrades I've warmed to the idea of moving the team north of Lauderdale or into Palm. Can't blame the Dade residents who got burned by the Marlins but I'm not sure that stadium will ever be a success at it's present location. No doubt this will become a bigger issue over the next few years as the desire to host Super Bowls remains but the prospect weakens.

I really don't understand the LA thing. I know it is a major tv market, but there is a reason the rams moved, and the raiders didn't stay. Like in Miami, there is just too much other stuff to do than spend an entire day (travel, game time, getting out of the parking lot and home again) for a football game. Growing up, my brother was a HUGE rams fan, and there were so many games when the stadium looked like it was over half empty. Sure you had the fake fans all come out when they were in the playoffs, because they wanted to be seen, but the "every day" fans didn't show up in those kinds of numbers.
