Frank Gore's Injuries

In the 5th-6th range. At that point it would probably be between him, Clarett, and Houston when it comes to backs with good size.

I would take Houston, then Gore and then Clarett if I am desperate.

If we're expanding to talk about any later round back, I would certainly hope that Harris gets a look at the right stage of the draft. Dude is huge. :D

I would consider him in the 6th or 7th round but would not be a priority. I recall watching one of the plays where Gore was injured and it was not a brutal hit or a freak injury, just a simple tackle where it seemed Gore lacked flexibilty.

If he isn't flexible enough to avoid injuries on simple tackles how can he be expected to take an NFL hit?

My other concern is his conditioning, he seems soft and kinda slow on the field.

Gore's a risky pick, but if he stays healthy and fully recovers from his knee injuries he's gonna be awesome. Before his injuries the Miami coaching staff thought he was better than McGahee, Portis or Edge.
