I know it isnt popular but for some reason I like this guy. I wouldnt mind it at all if we signed him, but deep down I know it is probably a bad idea. Maybe being cut humbled him a bit and he'll tone it down a little and be more motivated.

Freddy Mitchell was effective as a slot reciever for the eagles. If I recall correctly Saban did mention his interest in upgrading that position after the draft.

the local media would pounce on him. if he so much as breathes, it could cause a controversy. better to re-sign boston, move chambers in the slot on passing downs and work from there.
