..........and someone always does. With every bum that ever gets cut, somehow a member of this board will ask if we should sign him. I just wonder if they really in their heads are giving it consideration or are that f*ckin' bored.

No way in heck do we even think about this touching this fool! I rather give Gilmore, or on of the other young players a shot, no way! This guys talks nothing but trash, and brings nothing to the game. We need productive players, not just smack talkers!
 
The only way id want mitchell is if it was a cruel joke so we could cut him...Hes worth nothing IMO.

did you say Freddie Mitchell and effective in the same sentence? If he was so effective why does he only have like 4 career TDs? He couldn't even beat out James Thrash or Todd Pinkston, and got replaced by Greg Lewis in the Super Bowl.

He has more nicknames than he does career TDs. Plus he never shuts up. What kind of bum goes out and challenges Rodney Harrison, especially this scrub.

How stupid do you think the Eagles feel knowing that they passed on WRs like Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Chris Chambers, Robert Ferguson, and Steve Smith for this guy?

A quote from Espn regarding Mitchell is below...

"His best season came in 2003, when he had 35 catches, and became a very good third-down receiver out of the slot."

Now did I say he was the second coming of Crash Jensen or Nat Moore, nope. However considering we do not have a quick slot receiver you can bet he is being discussed in Davie.

Every receiver on your list has a major blemish. Chad Johnson has a mouth like Mitchell. Reggie Wayne is nothing special, benefits from having Harrison, Manning & James. Ferguson hasn't set the world on fire, which is should have considering his size and speed. Chambers hasn't done anything to warrant the admiration given to him on this site (Fieldler was a handicap, but show me the game breaking plays).

You're getting way off track man. Too even mention any of those recievers you just mentioned in the same breath as Freddie "Bum" Mitchell is pure insanity. 35 receptions?????????? What???????????? Oh give me a break. For all the baggage that sh*thead would bring, 35 measly receptions wouldn't make up for it. He's a turd. And so is the idea of bringing him in, let alone for a look.
