Brent Urban may make sense. Played for Weaver in Baltimore.
John Jenkins has played for Miami twice before. So, he seems logical.
The most talented, IMO and also not extremely long in the tooth, could be Jonathan Bullard.

Top 10 Free Agent DT Replacements (Post-Campbell)

Tier 1 – Best All-Around Veterans (Balanced Production)

1. DeMarcus Walker –

Best fit to replace Campbell’s pressure + run defense mix.

Versatile across 3T/4i/5T.

High snap % (69.2%) and steady disruptor.

2. Jonathan Bullard –

Strong against the run, smart positional player.

Won’t get you 5 sacks, but won’t make mistakes either.

50.5% snap rate and good technique.

---

Tier 2 – Best Early-Down Run Anchors

3. John Jenkins –

Still stout at 36 years old.

Eats blocks and holds the point of attack.

Ideal rotational 1T or goal-line anchor.

4. Johnathan Hankins –

Veteran NT with consistent early-down reliability.

Not flashy, but he’ll keep your LBs clean.

5. Folorunso Fatukasi –

Excellent gap control, ideal early-down plug if you can rotate him.

---

Tier 3 – Best Sub-Package/Pass Rush Options

6. Quinton Jefferson –

Still shows solid hand usage and 3T pass-rush ability.

Best for 3rd-down packages, can’t anchor on early downs.

7. Jordan Phillips –

Former 9-sack guy. Inconsistent and often injured, but dangerous when hot.

High-reward depth gamble.

---

Tier 4 – Versatile Depth / Rotational Pros

8. Angelo Blackson –

Can play multiple spots (1T/3T/4i), steady rotational guy.

Doesn’t wow, but doesn't lose you reps either.

9. Taven Bryan –

Pure traits-based 3T. Can generate quick interior pressures, but unreliable vs run.

10. William Gholston –

Early-down base 5T or 4i.

No pass rush, but disciplined gap control and edge setting.

Great news for us, thought he showed promise and could be alternative plan if Maye doesn’t pan out. Didn’t get much for him.

I’m sure we’d all love to see him have a better career than Drake Maye, however unlikely that to be.

Not guaranteed he ever gets a shot but still think Maye has a high bust rate either way. He flashed last year but think he’s being overhyped and is still pretty raw. Not sure Vrabel or Josh McDaniel is capable of coaching up a qb.

I thought he was very Josh Allenesque in terms of could be a star or a flop and I don’t think Allen turns out to be the star he was without Brian Daboll being there to mold him. Even when Daboll left, Allen started to go down the turnover path until Joe Brady took over and reeled him back in while scaling back on winning with his arm.

That's a great move for Dallas IMO. I know some people on this board think nothing of this guy but from what I've seen on the field, there is a ton of potential there.

Yeah especially in a qb weak class this year.
